I am looking at COE as the indicator to go all in? Now parking my fund in FD that generate 4 digits every 12 months, good enough for my bike COE renewal in 2017.

As long as COE for car fall below 10k, I am all out..

During bad times, the market needs 9-12 months to ride out the bad times, the starting of the 2016 make me happy for a while, however it start to recover after 2-3 months.

Something is not right...The fundamental of recovery is not there..

20% stock and 80% FD for me, patient is a virtue...

When times are good, save, when times are bad, spend like you won a lottery.

Anyway still waiting, just like I wait for the COE plunges so that I can renew my old bike..7 more months before she expired.

finally got on board Stand chart online platform.. much cheaper than the Vickers I'm currently using especially for small multiple trades.

Just exited Keppel at 5.57 but looking to buy back on dip with the Stand Chart platform.

yeah, just when I got in. They will charge min comm of $10 fm Aug so still got 2 months.. at $10 is still quite abit cheaper than Vickers.

i dont think sg equities are good to go in yet.

 

will probably grab another bond in the next few months and see how things pan out.

 

markets get tougher every year.

No lah, property requires long term commitment which isnt my current stance as already expressed recently.

I think you might have been slightly mistaken.

or i may have said it too loosely

 

i do not expect STE to drop.

Those "targets" are not expectations

they are additional entry points for me to load up should the market face some short term sudden downward moves.

 

my expectation for STE is $3.60 by year end.

Sold off my bike, last to wait.....

Like you said, work like an ant, save for now. 80% in FD and 20% in shares like SMRT and Singtel.

Any fare hikes, I feel happy unlike last time.

Not time yet. Maybe if war breaks out in South China Sea.
