back to topic, i'm going long straits asia as i'm into the coal story.

have reserved about $50k for it and next level i will average if it reaches there will be

$1.50

 

for this counter, i probably give it until H2 2010 to play out the movements.

it's almost year end, people are taking profits and closing books earlier as they dont want so much positions during choppy times.

i think you might have read my words to Kmax in the wrong context.

 

 

 

no tips, I simply use pyramid dice .

looks like major correction on the way?

Historically, Nov been best month, but seems like historical trends been taking a break elsewhere lately :angel:

 

i read somewhere that there should be one last thrust before the major correction. will see then ....

I hope there will be. So I can pull the ejection handle on some of my counters. One of them looks like swiss cheese right now.

at times, its better to eject while flying low rather than attempt ejecting just as the nose touches down w/o the landing gear.

 

energy stocks held up last nite by wti's divergence with equities last nite.

something fishy going on.

Options and futures are one thing but if WTI spot above $100, i really dont know to laugh or cry.

gotta agree with u coal is a good play :thumb:

buffett's bet on BNI really a bet on coal. besides, the M&A was done by GS (ahhhhh related to buffett again). very shrewd man hahahaha ...

 

I think Soros side also bet big on coal much earlier

btw, if Saudis to drop WTI as price benchmark for U.S. crude, how will that affects WTI?

Sorry, I cant open the site, it seems to be down.

 

If I understand your qn correctly, I doubt there will be much of an effect.

 

But the Oman crude will then be interesting to watch.

 

And as most of Asia gets crude from the middle east, prices on our side should be heading north, esp. fuel/gas oil.

in the good years, I have friends in Vitol , Marubeni and Cargill, etc..move on with 6 figure packages.

 

I worry about the real life impact though.
