Technically we can't really call it good news per se. It's just that the situation is "not as bad as expected".

 

Well, we still have tonight. Let's see which way the hammer falls.

 

it is good news

just that the reaction happened was not as expected

 

goldman had 8 figures pumped in just based on that data alone

but it was not in equity which also makes ppl think if they have gone short on commodities.

Non farm consensus was -100k, optimistic to prior's -190k

but actual was -11k!!

yeah ... given unemployment rate slipped a bit to 10% from 10.2%, from -190K to -11k was too unbelievable

 

dollar has legs now, anyway market very mixed right now o_O

China XLX power... been staring at it since 0.59... but no balls... today hi was 0.905...

It's not a penny stock, should have just tried if you felt something was going to happen. Throw in 5 lots or something.

But now that it has rocketed up, you run the risk of a sell down.... or worse, some idiot trading house halting trade because of speculative overvaluation.

 

You may have missed the boat, or you might not have. Care to risk? :angel:

 

I've made trades like this.... buy in after one rise. Won some, lost some.

Can't win them all.

MOstly cause of the dual listing.. in HK the highest it went was about $6 est roughly SGD1.20.. Little wonder that it'd climb so high.. Santa same early this year ho ho ho.. Next up the dual listing plays, the abalone company haha.. Happy trading!

I've made trades like this.... buy in after one rise. Won some, lost some.

Can't win them all.

Yes. One of my counters is now at 75% profit after 1 month. :D

 

Quite happy. Glad I didn't cave to temptation or fear to sell it earlier at 25% profits.

This counter is now top trade volume on SGX. :p

 

Projections are good for exceeding 200% or perhaps 300% of my buy in value somewhere next year.

 

Fingers are crossed.

Investment savy people, can banks give customers' phone numbers to insurance people to call us and canvass for biz? I keep receiving calls from AXA, Ace claiming they represent MxxBank. Does this mean the bank breach customer's confidentiality info (my phone number) to 3rd party (AXA is not Mxxbank)?

 

I wana make a complain to MAS to stop all these nonsense.

Im not too sure about this, but if im not wrong, they can.

 

When you sign a contract/whatever plan with your bank, there is sometimes this clause that states they are allowed to "sell" your contracts to a third party.

 

And by signing on that dotted line you accepted that clause too...

 

Same goes for some telecom company and even some famous online social websites.

China XLX still OK la. There's space and tolerance for 1 or 2 cents movement without much damage to your portfolio.

 

U try trading in micropennies, see how your heart jumps when the thing goes up or down 1 or 2 cents. Every tick is like 10% of your money earned or loss. LOL. I think I'm getting out of micropennies once I've cashed in my profit. Not time yet.... soon.

No wor, i only open a deposit bank account only. And subscribe a credit card only. Guess what, yesterday file feedback to MAS, today Mxxbank called me, assuring me they only divulge name and phone number to this insurance company. Dam i still scold them upside down, i never sign anything to release even my name and contact number. And its without my consent. Dam they are screwed.
