JC traded it at minerva for a 1098s.

believe the monster then had abt 3-4000kms.

and he was the first owner, so if its the same one, uve got a great deal as he always took good care of it.

guess it's probably the same one.

mileage is only 7550km when i got it and the previous owner also hardly rides.

THe condition is very good cept for the usual bit of rust on the screws due to age.

I'm happy with the purchase so far. :thumb:

Yes I found it in garage sales.

seller has a similar ride schedule like me.

Basically once a week. He clocked only a few thousand km in 3 years of ownership.

I'm guessing that I will likely do under 1000km per year

Just removed the pillion footpegs and it already looks so much better. yippee

a 2nd hand monster is probably one of the best and desirable naked bike around

the new generation L twins produce higher hp n torque but somehow lacks the soulful bassy note of previous range.

very glad ure happy with your ride :)

Thanks, it does ride pretty well except i dont like the hydraulic clutch lever freeplay. as far as i know, it cannot be adjusted, plse correct me if i'm wrong. I could be technically outdated.

I've always liked the M since the early 90s and a second hand one is so cheap! Super value for money. Perfect for me who use it for ornamental purpose more than for riding, hah.

coming back to topic, i'm still trying to invest the money from the pref shares i liquidated but just cant find anything worthwhile. plse throw some ideas...

if u dare, u can look for Michael Chong at Kallang cycle, old sch ducati master, if it can be adjusted he can do it.

mkts are in a queer state of lull.

consumer sentiments were less than consensus but there was no major sell of, similar reaction last thurs when jobless claims increased to 464K.

corelations between wti & the euro are completely out of synch, used to be about 1c to every dollar on the wti but these days it been anything from .5c to a $3 night while equity rallies on the backdrop.

taking into the account these factors, even though the dow has risen nearly 400 points over last couple of days, my opinion are stocks are going to close higher for this mth end, which is tmrw.

No need Michael to adjust.

I took a closer look this morning and realise that Brembo levers even for hydraulic reservoirs operation are adjustable. just a small screw to turn.

3 sec job.....:cheeky:

Perfect now.
