Yo starr!

Interesting work on using wet ground (how much water u wasted ah?) to give a glimpse of reflection . the background wasn't messy with simple lines that compliments.

imho, you probably have crop your foto? I would prefer bottom 1/3 crop off as well and give a bit more spaces on left & right sides. what u think about that?

my dehumidifier of my dry cabinet went kaput, so got it change from the distributor at Tagore Lane. apparently it is a common problem according to the technician.

haha! i use the fire hose nearby for the water supply. :cheeky: haha.

oh i did not crop bro, i was already leaning to the wall (which marks the end of the carpark, and cannot go any further or i'll fall =x) so got not much of a space. So for i only edit the lighting on this pic. apart from that, everything is still there. =)

Thank you for ur compliments. :p

waaaa DOF so shallow, must be f1.x lens

aiyoh, focus on serial number mah so that we can buy 4D o_O

how long did that last before it breakdown? is the vignetting inherent or PS?

this drycabi was bought in Aug08 (warranty 5yrs) after my older one was outgrown by expanded lens collection.

heheh.. shallow DOF. the vignetting is inherent, photo was straight out from my cam with only resizing and border/signature added.

Raynox marco lens...worth gettin it?? i shot marco not so serious.. 260 bucks for the full set...

no experience with Raynox macro lens, perhaps you try googling for review & samples to see if it fits your needs.

otherwise you can consider closeup filter option, less then 50 bucks!

hehehe.. nothing special abt the pole, just that the location of this shot was taken and also the bokeh. it was taken on a railway track.

oic, there are interesting unused railway tracks near sunset way or u had visited the track which a couple were hit by train recently?

the one at sunset way is non-active track. so it is safe so to speak. the other one at bukit timah is active one, so one needs to be careful. i have been to the tracks countless times, mainly to shoot wedding photos.

Thanks for sharing .. just thought the night shots looks a bit overexposed (maybe becoz my monitor not calibrated). Otherwise that look good.

Sunset way? Is the entrance quite prominent?

just ride along sunset way, u come across a "bridge" overhead which is actually the railtrack.

imho, the area is small and not much scenery to speak of, so if u thinking of photographing scenery, you will be disappointed

but the rusty structure makes a nice prop for certain photography style (e.g wedding)
