anyone knows how much clifford charge for 6 points grounding? can pm me the price... no time to go down and ask...

anyway, does anyone has problem with their idling? I always set it to about 1200rpm but after a week of riding, it will definitely drop to below 1000rpm.. usually about 900rpm... then i will have to open up the seat and tank to tune the idling again.. this weekly chore is getting on my nerve.... I've finished running in and the only aftermarket item i have on the bike is the KNN air filter... what could be the possible problem?

I am in mood good today after some good wines. Now floating and feels like flying.

Ok now I tell you the answer. Best tested windscreen for Hayabusa is double bubble PowerBronze, they are very stable because they are thick and solid (doesn't break easy). With double bubble design it makes your meter cluster a lot clearer and nicer looking.

Light tinted or clear will be good application for Hayabusa. HKL has immediate stock available. :)

for the 1st time i see that u are in good mood. to ans qns properly. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

instead of saying etc etc... u know la...

gd advise there!

else do what tish suggest. cost less than $100 ba. nt sure nv had the prob now. juz "wack" abit more to clear the carbon too.

Bro, really sorry to hear that. My friend always tell me ride in jb, stay in a place where u can see ur bike all the time.

Anyway I think insurance will pay u after they ask 3 bike shop the price of ur 99 busa and average it out.

Come to tink of it, I've only had this problem the 1st few mths upon getting the bike. Subsequently after frequent short trips up north, my idling became stable.

Even up till now, if i recall correctly, the last time i adjusted my idling was back in Dec last year. Didn't have to adjust it anytime after that.

Perhaps it may be carbon built up for u, can try going for a short blast; my 0.2 cents worth. Perhaps others here can betta solutions for u.

insurance will pay 80% of market value... which means if your busa market value is 10k u get back only 8 k etc..

Go to Clifford and say u need to do throttle body sync and re-route the air pipe at the carbo. I did that few weeks ago. So far so good. Last time I face the same problem as u. Now much much better. U can call him to ask when he not so busy and how much b4 go there. I cant remember mine. Ard 60 I tink.

Anyway, just to get a general opinion... is $280 for 3 steel brakelines + 1 steel clutch line + installation, a reasonable price? think its time to do something to my brake....

also looking at the SBF Anniversary offer on Galfer brake lines... all inputs appreciated... :)

Yes that's the reason, too much carnbon. This machine is NOT build for slow riding on a long period. Try fast touring. My RPM droped to abt 1000 (maybe 950). Went outside of Singapore this weekend. The idling RPM is back to nurmal. Rode for 2hrs at an avarage speed of 200-220km/hr (Kuantan-Genting Highlands). Everything cleared.

anyway u ride 200-220kph at 6th gear? or is there any particular gear to be at to clear the carbon?
