what advantages... many busa do not have main stand....

easy maintenance, more stable parking especially on slope. let's see who gets more jittery when parking on a slope? :cheeky: parking on mainstand leverage pressure on your suspensions. good enough?

yes !!! and it makes teh bike looks so ugly.. a main stand on a sports bike.

might as well ask a ferrari to put luggage on the roof.

to wat extend does the mainstand reduce the aerodynamics? alot? please explain leh

looks wise, you are just looking at a bike slanted or upright. what else? :p

haha. to each his/her own opinions

one mans meat is another mans poison

the bellypan is not put for show it has its usuage. suzuki will not suka suka add something on the busa that is useless or reduce its aerodynamics. the busa has been to the wind tunnel for a long period of time studying how to make it as aerodynamic as possible.. u look carefully at the design u will know the answer..

and u sure parking on a slope with main stand more stable?? the mainstand helps in lupeing the chain and cleaning i wont argue abt that. but there are other cheaper and simplier methods as well :thumb:

why dont u see mainstand on sports bikes??

I have a maintstand on my Busa and no offence taken. :)

Aiyaaa ... budd, is not the suckiie afterall lah ... ... ...

Here are some group pics taken in our 2006 mega meet up. Most of them have only sidestand, some have mainstand and some don't even have the maintstand and the pan. Frankly, you can't really tell unless one take a extra attention to focus on that area. 99% of the Busa riders don't look there and 99.9% of the chicks know nuts about this pan but they just love Busa. :D

This bike you can't even tell there is a mainstand fixed, there is a trick you can do when your Busa have one single sided exhaust system.

Don't base on talking and thoeries, personally I had tested it above 300km/hr countless times and it did not affects the aero dynamics. Cornering also never scratch ...

I know the tricks but I don't want to tell you ... ... ... :D

haha just personal perference la. just like side box saddle bags 2 exhaust or 1 exhaust system

just feel sports bike shoulnt have main stand regardless of aerodynamics issue or not.

if anyone like can add givi box , two side panniers, mainstand even paint it pink.

after all its your ride.. everyone have every rite to mod however they wan. :thumb:
