For something like the erp bracket, I don't mind lower quality cuz I can DIY a bit and make it good again... The prob is finding the right fit.... I do agree that $60 for the bracket is a bit on the high side...

Its a matter of taking the time n effort to find one which fits.

:goodluck: in finding one.

eh... i once saw someone fixed a bracket that is right at the centre of the fuel tank towards the front. The bracket is attached to the 2 screws that is securing the fuel tank... eh can understand or not ah? haha.. a bit hard to describe....

ermm.. dun eva tink abt it.

Unless u're bike is only for posing purpose n not for speed, den u pls go ahead n do wad u juz said.

Just a suggestion.. maybe the erp don use bracket (or fixed permantly) cos when go malaysia /thailand no need erp can remove so not an eye sore.

Actually which ever method u use is up to individual preference for their own convenient.

Some like to access it easily so had it permanently fixed onto a bracket attach to anywhere around the handle bar area.

Others prefer to hide it under the seat coz it looks ugly and keep forgetting to remove cash card.

Some like to carry it along only when they are going thru the erp, thus had 2 wires with male/female plugs for easy removal, and a velcro strap on their tank/tankbra and IU unit to replace the bracket for easy removal.

People like me dont like it and almost dont travel where ERP are, so had it attached to the store room 99% of the time :D

I've personally fiddled with IUs that have been fixed on the bike by velcro strap. Well, it may in inconvenient overall.

Well, Tish is rite. Its totally the bike owner's preference. Suggestions can be made but ultimately, its the beholder of the bike that decides.

Bro, fix at here. See attached.

Then can see all meters liao. :thumb:

Bro, saw the pic u posted. Can I say something?

Its betta for u to remove the plastic protection protecting the metal piece bearing the HAYABUSA word juz below the ignition.

Reason, if u leave ur bike uncovered under the exposure of constant sunlight, the heat may melt the protective plastic n it would be rather difficult for u to extract the melted plastic from the metal piece behind the plastic.

I only realized this 6mths after i got my bike. By then it was like too late as the plastic melted n kinda inked itself below the 'Y' of the HAYABUSA word.
