Hello all DIY experts here, is it possible to access the brake light wire of our bike without removing the tail fairing? I've got some led cubes and wanna fix them up as additional brake light (just like my super 4 for those who've seen it before)... thanx~! :)

I've a leaking front tyre which still leaks after 2 patch-up sessions. Any advice besides replacing the tyre? It's less than a month old and would be a waste if the only option left is to replace it.

patch frm inside??

or else ride slow loh...

Engine oil allows engine to run cooler? Mmmm.... Not something tat I know of if your butt is sitting on a 1300cc. o_O There'r perhaps a few options to cool down your engine slightly faster:

1. Change your fan blades to Muzzy

2. Drop in a fan switch to manually switch on your fan before your temperature touches the red line or when your 'bolas' r starting to boil.

3. Drop in a second fan.

4. Flush out your stock coolant and fill your radiator up with engine ice of water wetter.

5. Pull out your thermostat sensor to let your coolant run continuously.

Good luck! :cheeky:

sorry but may i noe where to get water wetter? heard so much abt it but couldn't really get it off any shelves easily.

Yup I am considering option 3 and 4, and will be doing it at K&T soon... really buay tahan the heat.... everytime i ride confirm the fan will be activated even if its only stopping for a short while at the traffic lights.... :faint:

Anyway, I got another observation which I think I need to be concern about... My bike is leaking oil.... whenever I go and get my bike, I will always notice a few drops of black oil at the area directly below the side stand. I noticed that the top part of my side stand is very dirty and oily..

Could that few drops of oil come from a leaky engine? If so, is there anything I can do to remedy it? Could it be that the mechanic never tighten the screw back properly after he release the old engine oil?

bro, once u've fitted ur 2nd fan, could u pls fill me in on the installation charges etc.

thanks.

I thought a thought. But the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I thought. If the thought I thought I thought had been the thought I thought, I wouldn't have thought so much.

I understand that a few bros here have the same voltmeter... anyone encountered such problem before? I press all the button, take out and shake... all in vain.... :weep:

I hope I have not wasted $50..... :(

juz wondering if anyone here fell victim to cats which made your bike their little cozy getaway?

Recently, I found out that these cats actually put many holes into my seat. What's worst, due to the commencement of the monsoon season, its been like raining everyday and the sickening part is that after every raining session, water would seep into my seat. From there, my seat have been leaking water everytime i sit on it.

Juz wanna noe if the normal wraps found in the seat wraps shops, are they water-proof? Do i nid to look-out for anything b4 re-wrapping the seat. Its really damn irritating!! Even after i cover my bike, water still gets in.

Guys, any idea if the market sells really water-proof bike cover? I now resort to placing a trash bag on top of my seat b4 covering my bike.

Oh! Perhaps the device actually came in contact with water?

Doesn't the device have a warranty? Bring it back to the person u bought it from, perhaps they can do something?

I'm looking for a voltmeter myself. Was at the Super Import Night and saw some very nice voltmeters going for $60 - $128. I didn't buy bcoz i was told tat it wasn't water proof.

Is there such thing as a water-proof voltmeter out there in the market? Anyone?

The coolant water wetter i have not used them yet, but i heard 1 bottle is enuff, coz need to pre mix with distill water...

preventing cats on the seat... I used plastic bag fasten to the seats, coz cat wont climb up if there is something on the seat. so far so good for me :D

Pinetree will tell u use medicated oil rub on ur seat... but i dont want to get hot ass there kekeke :D

i don't think there are any voltmeters that are specifically built to be water-proof for bike use. Most are taken straight from car accessories shop... the only one that i can think of is the acumen gear indicator + voltmeter.
