personal preference to have the front at the 42 psi same as the rear as it is a heavy ride if abit soft it maybe a be hard to control it.

Hi,

1. Is there any way to make the busa's weight any lighter?

2. What are the possible ways to reduce the seat-height? I heard of adjusting the rear suspension down / cut the seat (gulp!).

There might be some post on this topic, but I can't seem to locate it.

Thanks.

1. Yes.

> Change full titanium exhaust system

> Change subframe to aluminium (99-00)

> Change front forks (gixxer 1k)

> Change to carbon fiber fairings

> Change to carbon fiber wheels or forged aluminium

> many more if u got the cash to spare..

2. Put lowering linkages on the bike.. but your handling will suffer.. Get tobin seats..

Hi,

1. Is there any way to make the busa's weight any lighter?

a. Change to a 4-2-1 Exhaust Full system, that should at least cut down 10 to 15 kg.

b. Change whatever plastics to carbon fibre.

c. Change all bolts n nuts to titanium

d. Change front n rear rims to carbon fibre.

2. What are the possible ways to reduce the seat-height? I heard of adjusting the rear suspension down / cut the seat (gulp!).

i lower my seat by drilling another hole at the seat brackets n thread screw threads n cut my seat. it lowered my seat by abt 1 n 1/2 inches.

if u r ok with seat cutting can try.

if lower the suspension might affects handling.
