Hey guys and good morning :D

I am taking my dad today with me to go around town and look at more bike stuff. I found a shop that makes custom leather seats and accessories for the kind of bike he has so it will be fun to take him there.

Hope you guys had a great day and a better night.

Thanks for the replies Quizesilver. Well the Yoshi TRS street racing exhaust I have are so quiet you can hardly hear them. I think there are some distinct advantages for being quiet but being a bit louder seems to have more..lol

I am really tired of cars coming over on me because they don't look nor do they hear me. People never drive with bikers in mind...

take note of how the rubber mounting on both sides are fitted.. and make sure it fits the same way after changing the windshield... if not you may scratch the stock paintwork with the bolt..

also you can try putting double side tape on the windshield part that goes under the fairing.. this will stop the buzzing noise when traveling. :goodluck:

Its really not that hard, just remember what u have done when removing the wind shield, 2 screw on top, 2 quick release below. When removing, careful with the rubber thats all. Like hbyboy said, be gently and she will be gentle back to u :D

i use to have it when i set my idling to abt 1K abit too low then when i set it up higher, all ok.

have u done any clutch bleeding or?

like the pressure nt enuff to cause it to be fully clutch in thus the stalled.

yeah..hmm..i should go check the clutch .. perhaps should do the bleeding.. have yet to do so since i gt the bike.

ive already tried increasing the idling. But i dont prefer high idling coz the bike tends to get hot fast and i try not to get the fan on..

btw, whats ur idling rpm?? i noe its been discussed before but nt sure wats the optimal one...

u need a compression gauge to check compression..

then leak test to be done with compressed air.. blowing into the cylinder.. google is ur best friend... :thumb:

ok broi..will check it up.. thanks!

Hey Scotty, you gonna love me. Telling you base on what I had experienced.

Street TRS can sound really good if you did it right !

Open up the muffler and give it a straight through with minimium 2.5inches core. That is where the pipe begin to sound awesome. Do not over doing it because the sound pitch begin to change. My personal favouite is 03inches, high revving sound like GP bikes. :D

Rivets that used on the pipe are not the common sizes. You can try getting those that are use for computers. :) I have some, you have problems sourcing them let me know.

If you confuse what to do, you can send over to me as your winter project.

Errrh wait ... ... ... is yours a dual or single sided now ??? :?

Thank you very much for your thoughts on this they are greatly appreciated :thumb: I will certainly do as you advise and I am lucky to have found some good rivets so there should be no trouble with that. I have dual exhaust so I can only imagine how loud they are going to be.

I also have some help with this small project with a local shop here in town. So thats going to make this much easier as well. Its not going to be until Monday before I know forsure how this will all sound but I am really REALLY excited about it..lol.. :cheeky:

there are other concerns that you should be aware of other than the temperature..

the busa has this problem of low oiling pressure (oil pressure is proportional to the rpm) at idle if you set your rpm too low (below 1k is definitely too low). with insufficient oiling internal parts will start to wear faster.. try to set ur idle rpm at ard 1.1k and above...

Erm... when I mention head shakes at high speeds, I'm talking about speeds higher than 140kmh. o_O

Let me know once your bike is ready to go beyond 200kmh and let me know ya?

Gong xi gong xi!
