u pay extra for getting street legal tag.. but also for lesser power.. the trs is not the street legal tri-oval yoshi in singapore it may look the same on the outside but the inside is different n the street legal has an additional baffle and is from japan not usa...

if u import from usa no doubt it will be cheaper but it is not street legal :giddy:

okie now I know... haha... thanx a lot for the advice~!! :cheeky:

I dont notice any diff after i use engine ice. maybe your stock coolant was very old.. i compared the engine ice to 6 months old coollant cos i chaged the coolant when i installed the full system after i got my k6 for 6 months.

The temp is the same the needle points at the same spot..

what you notice may just be an illusion cos u felt that engine ice is better..

or that BOC chairman have special features??

i think i know why my bike is cooler than yours. i think its due to the rider la.

I just found something that really interest me~!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-07-Suzuki-Hayabusa-Yoshimura-TRS-bolt-on-exhaust-CF_W0QQitemZ200199843610QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item200199843610

Can anyone enlighten me? Is it cheaper to import exhaust ourselves? I'm asking this is because the cost of bringing it in ourselves seem so much lesser than when buying in Spore.. eg. the CF Yoshi TRS Slip-on, Motoworld quote me $1550 SGD... ebay only selling $690 USD excluding shipping...

Next thing... If I import this exhaust from U.S. Is the pipe still consider as legal, since this model is recognised as legal when we buy it locally. Of course I will send it for inspection if that's all I need to do to make it legal.

Enlighten me pls~!

Oh by the way, I am only interested in slip-ons cuz I like the 2 pipe look... Yes, I am more "hiao"... looks good, sounds good, good enough for me...

dude, definitely its cheaper to import the end cans or full system yourself. i'm speaking from my own experience. i imported my RS3 from the States for just SGD$1280. installation only cost me $70. you do the maths. while Motoworld quote me a price of SGD$1500 for the same system with installation. Motoworld claimed that the RS3 they import is from Japan but the weird thing is that i got confirmation from Yoshimura that Japan do not produce RS3.

you may just wish for the looks so end cans will be enough. and in that sense, get from Motoworld as theirs are street legal. it'll be a headache for you if you want to show off your end cans and worry about getting caught. unless you want to play full system then its a totally different story.

Yoshimura products from Japan has better worksmanship compared to the States. so if you just stress on looks alone, dun want LTA to come after you and want to retain the dual end can look, get your street legal end cans from Yoshimura Japan.

Good Luck! :thumb:
