if i'm not mistaken, a brand new set of wiring harness cost in the range of 800+...

That is definitely something to keep in mind for those who are intending to keep their bikes for long term. :D

For the sake of friendly argument and knowledge sharing... based on specs of the new Busa, wouldn't the new one be a better base to start with for performance? The stock 08 engine has a higher output and in theory, should get a bigger power gain for the same amount of money input? The improvement in aerodynamics and handling would also ensure that overall ride in better, right?

Yes, the base price for the new busa is a few thousands more than the pre 08 models. But for the typical local riders where most buy the bike via loan, it is literally 'invisible' because the difference in monthly installments is a manageable sub-one-hundred a month. And when the same power hungry, performance oriented rider 'invests' in aftermarket components, will he not gain more power from the same amount thrown in?

As for my noisy 2 stroker... sorry man... thats my personnel toy... cannot share one! hehe

:thumb:   nicely said.

if gen 1 busa can install aftermarket parts to upgrade then gen 2 busa can too... compare stock to stock. but stock 08 busa will suck due to the 2 oversized cat convertor. will tell u after i try..

Absolutely no argument at all. What you said I agree no more. :)

What usually Jap bikes riders will take a loan for their machine and as for bolt on mods comes in later when they got the money.

Sorry :sorry: no offence who reading this post, I stated this base on what I observed in the market.

What I stated is a big advantage for those who pay cash. Besides they save a few thousands on interest as well as the bike prices New vs Old. With total sum savings here could easily roll up to 10k differences which good enough for all majors aftermarket parts. Reminding original parts still can sell for recovering some money.

K8 is for sure gonna better if equal hardwares loaded. :)

New K8 Busa is good bike for those who are looking to get a Hayabusa.

Every bike owner regards their machine as personnel toy. No worries, I already knew is answer is "NO". :D

Huh? You agree with what I said totally? Absolutely no arguments or anything?

NO FUN ONE! :cheeky:

Just wondering if there's any kind bro out there to follow me for Hayabusa viewing if I'm going to purchase one.

Because I'm unsure of what to look out for, or even if there's any problems or possible wear and tear through hearing of engine sound or whatever knocking sound.

Because when I use to ride my Mito, went for an outing, some pro hear the bike sound, can immediately tell me conrod bearing loose, which after checking with motordiam, its true.

if u r listening out for conrod bearing wear, you could hear a slight knocking sound that increases with the engine revs...

depending on the age of the bike.. there are more things to look out for.. :goodluck:

my former and present class 2 ride i got them brand new, i know nothing much about engine sound (i'm kinda tone deaf), but i do help out friends to lookout for telltale sign that the bikes been dropped before. sometimes these superficial deformity can tell a lot about the owner as well as condition of the bike as a whole. most of the time its true, sometimes not..

i think there are quite a number of busa owners in this forum who are knowledgeable about busa engine or even the whole bike itself.... do take your time in searching, don't rush into it bro.. just tell me if u need my help:thumb:
