I can see you are very new in this thread. It is the usual NA's joke. It has nothing to do with you personaly. He does this to everyboddy but he is a great guy that have help most of us when we needed help. By the way I'm a teenager trapped in an old man's boddy and riding young man's bike.....

Thank you, but no need to say sorry, I was depressed about somthing I do not want to discuss (Erectile Dis....:cry: . If you must know). So i hope riding this bike is better than having sex:thumb: . Anyway this bike is new to me and i need to find out as much as I can abt maint (other than wats in the owners manual) and things like how to tell if it has a 16 or 32 bit ecu and stuff like that. Any advise would be appreciated

 

im new to the thread too but theres nice guys here to help u out..so uve come to the rite place. aniway, i juz sent my bike for major overhaul last wk. ive posted b4 abt hearing a knocking noise in the engine. Tot that it was normal. Turns out my camshaft bended mayb due to previous owner accident. Since ive ride busa for 2 yrs, a bit hard to part with it.. so sent for the repair. Replace it with 06 camshaft, conrod.. had most bearings and the piston rings changed. Cost me $2000..kinda paying thru d nose. hahah.. Of coz feels much beter nw..doing running in and sorta feels like a new bike..

 

Juz wondering if its worth it or shud i juz get a new smaller bike.. any replies appreciated!

Don't need to get a smaller bike lah. Just ride your busa and enjoy every single moment on it... :thumb:

for long run. a spare bike is alway a plus!

yup and also enjoy the addional tyre replacement (busa known as tyre eater)

addition engine oil change, additional maintanence (tensioner replacement. wheel bearing change. valve clearance .

 

so if u have lots of money and time to spent at the mechanic go ahead.. :angel:

All those issues are already factored in when I decided on a busa. If I want to ride a busa, these should be the least of concerns. And if I buy a busa, then don't dare to ride much cuz scare of maintenance, then I should just stick to public transport... :cheeky:

 

I don't have lots of money or time to spend at the mechanics, but I do know what I buy the bike for and I know I wanna enjoy it to the fullest :thumb:

you are a kind man. If that bike is mine, I'll start charging them on a daily basis.... Just like how they would charge us for putting our bike at the shop, I will also charge them for using my bike as a display bike for everyone to touch and sit on... :thumb:
