You took it way too far. Just change your engine will do.

Oh yah! Should have known that. But I can't afford to change engine as of now because I just bought new fairings because the old ones are dirty. :faint::angel:

Point taken. I seldom ride the busa locally because I value my license alot! hehe, and since I ride mostly in other countries at speeds thats quite impossible locally, whatever type of lubricants I use would be sh!t as it would most likely fling.

Wow... thats taking it abit too far man! Let me push it a bit further... my bike is due for an oil and filter change. And since I dun wanna be bothered with the different types of engine oil and filters available, I guess I would just have to change the whole bike!:cheeky:

hi guys,

i need some help on this.. i intend to switch to braided brake hoses some time soon. my main concern are the front brakes. i'm sticking to the original master pump and brakes, and hav no plans on upgrading these 2 items.

the question is, as for the hoses, should i go for parallel or remain with the standard hose route?? will the original pump capable on handling parallel routing and able to improve braking peformance?

Thank you in advance..

if you really do not wish to change your brake master pump, i would suggest you stick to the standard Y-shape configuration instead of parallel. i am speaking from my own personal experience. although like what tRish said, parallel set up enables even distribution of brake fluid and pressure to each caliper, your pressure output by your stock master pump is divided by 2. which means a lost in brake pressure. this was what happened to me exactly. thinking switching to steel braided brake hose should improve my braking but i end up worse.
