use it too but not on leathers, just on the stretchable areas/joints on the leathers but felt quite sticky to the touch tho:giddy:

mind if i ask what is it for??

in my opinion, it doesn't matter what leather care product u use (i use the cheapest leather lotion), its how often u apply it. i do it at least once a month for my bike seat, just to keep the pvc seat soft and prevent cracking and so far it works fine, even for my previous bikes (been doing this for more than 10 years).

may i suggest this

for your pvc

and this

for your leather (cleaner and conditioner together)

Check out this link and ask the seller whether he ships international or not:

Suzuki-GSX1300-Hayabusa-Seat-Cowl-97-07-solo-seat

Last but not least insist the seller who sold the bike to u pay for the seat cowl u bought. Make a big fuss and create a big scene spoiling his reputation if he doesn't.

hahahaha :thumb: for your suggestion.. but usually when i dun get wad I paid for, I sure hell would give tat person hell!

hehehe..

did you applied the mink oil too generously? i have used mink oil on other leather products but did not experience the kind of problem you had. the mink oil just seems to be absorbed into the leather. however, i have yet to try it on leather jackets or pants.

is this 'nikwax effective in removal of stains? where is this Planet Traveller?

wat sort of stains? bug stains not a problem la, others i'm not too sure.

at marina square there is one Planet Traveller. if u can find mcdonald restaurant, just go one floor up, it's opposite quiksilver surfshop, next to OSIM..

Raymond....if you contemplating of getting sliders....

FYI i have seen 1 busa which slided on a left corner in Malaysia with a screw on slider from motorworld or Motovation.

The length is quite smiliar to yours. The slider broke and went into the fairing. It got stuck inside the fairing.

Causes

-its a screw on slider

-the length is too short
