you the MAN!

 

U are probably right so do let us know how the setting should be when idling,, if poss, in detail... much appreciated, thks

sorry to disapoint u but i doubt there is any busa for rent....

 

If personal rental by indivisual... that i have no idea. unless insurance is of any rider which i dun know still have or not.

Thanks Nok, mine is set abt 980 and is not an issue... Maybe, we all can attend some classes conducted by "Oldbies" for newbies like us..!!?? Sure would like to learn something new... rgds

just my 0.0005 cents worth. gen 2 idling is fix and controled by ECU its set to1100rpm it may be a good reference guide.

it depends on wht the rider is doing and what he wants he can set the idling differently. :thumb:

The idling is a very common problem even for Suzuki gixxers 1000cc.It may due to carbon build up,throttle body synchronisation is out,fuel injectors clogged and dirty.Its not right to set too high or too low.Too high FC goes up,engine runs hotter.Too low the next morning either very hard to start or cant start the bike at all.FYI its for GEN 1

your statement applies on OEM machine.

QS machine cannot comply...

 

many years back. many riders set their idling high on OEM machine for some purpose.
