hello,

do i noe you?

pls use your original nick to post instead of spaming with a new nick.

and for your information.

my bike is running great.

and i hearsay from some saying that i "screwed" my bike which result in a long stay of the bike in the workshop which is all not true.

forum is such wonderful thing which will turn a positive aspect to something negative. :D

it broke off at the weakest point-CUT OFF EDGE.

valve tappet N spring might cause the damages.

320cam is common within..

Hi, just would like to share my silly mistake...

I had received my new Sg passport a few days back and wanted to have it stamped, similar to my old passport that " Holders is a registered BIKES user:.." so that i can use the "Biometrics Lane" at Woodlands ( though its nerve-racking using my R1150RT)!

After clearing immigration i proceeded to Passport office and was told its not necessary as the new one is not required to have the stamp and we can proceed to have the machine read our passport and fingerprint ourselves clearing immigrations. Great and i went off to top petrol at JB and return.

After returning back to Sg and clearing immigration i decided to find my way to Vista Point (to find out where it was) as i was busy for the meet up on 28th night. Finally found the small mall and headed towards Seletar Xprway going to City... but..

Somehow ended back on upram towards the Woodlands immigration and as there is NO u turn i rode strainght to Immigration and at the counter that i wanted to make a u turn.

I was told to wait a bit further after witholding my passport, another Officer approached me to tell me to park my bike at bike parking area and to follow him to the Passport Office. Here they asked me a few questions and registered my request in their book (why not in their computer, i do not know) and returned my Pport to the Officer.

Later he led the way for me to follow him to a special exit and out straight without going through the exit immigration check.. Great and i returned thinking how i missed and ended back to immigration...!

Sorry for the long story but just wanted to share... Thanks and have a great and a fruitful week. Hope to see you sometime in our meetup.. rgds

Hi Spore,

Actually, I live in Wdlds so I understd ur situation. To avoid going back to the ICA at Wdlds, once you are in Wdlds Ave 2 and going up to the SLE heading for town, u need to keep left and not filter back to the right on the fast lane and end up on the flyover down to the BKE instead. Strictly keep left all the way and you should be able to find that you will be heading down towards Bkt Panjang and town.

I believe what happened was dat once after the flyover on the SLE, traffic started to build up and you naturally riding the big BMW overtook traffic and picked up speed. Before u noe it u are already in the right most lane heading towards BKE to the north instead of the south to town.

The Biometrics Lane has been open to all S'pore passports for quite some months already but you need to remember dat u must not be carrying a pillon when using the Biometrics Lane.

Happy Riding and Be Safe Always.
