take out rider seat,

use allen key to open the two allen screw on the front of the tank.

use the tank support located at the pillion seat (it is a abt 30+cm long) metal support.

then put the tank support and lift up the tank.

the gps connector is located under the tank near to the sprocket area.

the gps connector is white triangle in shape connected to 3 wire wiring.

use lotza of toilet paper or cotton bud to clean up that area.

once clean, put down the tank and if u can mount on main stand or bike support, jack up the rear wheel.

start the bike

press and hold the gi pro button located below to go into programming mode.

then go thru the programming mode, in setting the gear.

and set it to mode 5 after that.

once done, screw back the tank and the rider seat.

cheers

this checking only provide a initial check.

if all is ok.

u have to check the clutch internal small spring which push out the sensor to the gps. that if the spring is loose or "degrade" it would cause wrong read of the gear which the gipro will read it wrongly causing it to jump up n down depending on the problem spring.

diy stator and rectifier change,

assume got stator, stator cover gasket, rectifier, new battery 12series.

know how to remove fairing, battery charger while u are doing the diy.

stator

- remove left fairing

- remove all 9 bolt via size 8 hex spanner

- clean up the gasket using pen knife or anything sharp

- take out the old stator, replace with the new one. almost idiot proof.

- put back the with new gasket.

done

rectifier

- remove tail fairing

- rectifier is located on the left side near the signal

- unplug and change.

done

relax drink kopi, battery charged, put in new battery, crank it up.

all ok. then put back fairing.

well done.

if im nt wrong, the harness cost abt 300 to 400 plus. a bit ex so i juz gonna live wif it. seldom riding it but wen i do.. always a thrill. doin fine nw bro.. thanks for asking.

btw, some guy approached me sayin he was the previous busa owner. finally met the guy after 3 yrs coz was lookin for him to learn more abt the bike history. had a nice chat wif the guy n apparently learned that albert motors screwed us similarly on the deal. wats past is past n my busa healthy nw.

bro.. do update me ya if you gonna buy the harness. if gt sometin nice maybe i might share shipping costs wif u. n abt the gipro.. update me oso if uve manage to resolve the issue. thanks..
