You are riding what is designed to be the fastest mass produced bike in the world with a factory limited top speed of 280kmh. It is not meant to sip fuel and have a 800km tank range. It is overdesigned to be modified further by users to go even faster.

Good fuel economy comes with good throttle control. But to expect a fantastic fuel economy from a bike that do not make any economic sense (except for the millions earned by Suzuki!) would be futile.

Take comfort in the fact that the Busa drinks less fuel than some of smaller capacity bikes. Go ask the R1/R6 riders.

If, after all you have done to improve the fuel economy, you are still not satisfied... let me know. I can solve your problem. :deal:

Dun flame me please! I am newbie!

There's no replacement for displacement except for a blower

limited to 274.123km/h to be exact

(at 6th gear, without top speed de-limiter

and after factor in speedo error)

If you have a heart that obeys your mind, you can win the whole world.

If you have a mind that obeys your heart, you can win the love of many hearts.

You got factor in tail wind/ head wind/ side wind? What about the incline of the road? Type of fuel used? Rider weight? Distance of Earth from Moon at time of launch? Horoscope of the rider on that day? What about the 8 characters of the guy doing the refueling? Did it clash with the guy who screw on the tyre valve cap?

Quote:"" The response was a so-called gentlemen's agreement between the Japanese and European manufacturers to electronically limit the speed of their motorcycles to 300 kilometres per hour (186 mph).[2][16] While Honda did announce that its motorcycles would not go faster than 300 km/h, Suzuki and Kawasaki would not speak on the record about this issue.[27] ""

unless they changed that??
