how do you clear the carbon from a busa?

 

hmmm, take out ur exhausts and use ur exhausts cleaning kit wich is included

 

in ur tools pouch :angel:

The good thing about the grips are that there are grooves inside the grip itself thus giving a firmer grip and hold.:cheers:

let me repeat myself, me no shifu...

 

from what i know...

 

limiter refers to the rev limiter,

 

the red zone you see on your tachometer is inaccurate above 10k rpm... so most likely you will see the needle hit about 12+ k when it actually hits the stock rev limiter at 10.8k rpm.

 

not recommended to hit the limiter frequently, as it bad for the engine health... though if you remove the limiter in the ECU, it's tested that our bikes can rev slightly higher that what was given... :cool:

Now this is confusing... Dont know what is true liao.. Some is saying the restriction is at 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear... Now i see the restriction is on the 6th gear!!!

 

So which is which?? And the Gi-pro TRE is to get rid of this right??

if i'm not wrong, for 2002-present busa, all gears have rpm restriction. the 6th gear restrction is not only the rev limiter but also the top speed limiter.

meaning - at 6th gear, once u're speedo needle touches 300km/h mark, the bike won't go any faster, even before the rev reached its limit.. just my 2cents :cheeky:

if u intend to go more than 300kph, just get the 'high gain top speed derestrictor' from boostbysmith.com - cost less than usd50 incl shipping

bypass using gipro tre have side effect - it reduces your lower gears perfomance.
