Yup, all brand mentioned are reputable and good. However I'm more looking at how well the wind is being deflected but I understand this can't be seen by naked eye. So it either by riders' feedback or feel it personally. But different body built and height will have different effect as well. Tentatively I can only based on my current PUIG windshield and rough gauge by placing the new windshield beside it to compare.

I will be dropping by BT21 this evening to take a look at the Powerbronze. If it is okay, I shall buy to try it.

powerbronze is good. using it too :thumb: :)

i won't recommend zg ~ the material is too thin. vibrate alot at high speed.

I'm using puig z racing db, like kinwei's i think. like it very much ~ stable even at 300kmph..

but dunno if they have a touring version.. try checkout the website..

anyway i'm 1.78m tall (long legged :D and long third leg too :p)

Yes they have.I heard good feedbacks from an ex busa rider than its good.Vibration may be caused by installation problems. It can be rectified. To each of its own:cool:

hahah long third leg.. ya zg is quite thin and will vibrate at high speeds. MRA vibrates as well

so far power bronze and puig windshields are thicker and wont vibrate as much.. :thumb:

Yup thanks to its thin plastic, one of my ex-mechanic broke one of the sides of my double bubble zero gravity before.Due to his obvious lousy workmanship.:sian:o_O

Thanks you all for the feedbacks. Not considering the ZG sport touring windshield due to it outlook. I think it kinda of spoilt the streamline shape of the bike. I understand windblast can't be avoided if I am not considering the tall windshield option. Maybe I should restate, I am looking at minimising the windblast, not 100% preventing it.

Puig in my opinion is okay. Good quality built, fit well and much taller than stock. However I don't understand why the edge is flat, parallel to the ground. This way, most of the wind is allowed to direct at my shoulder. Hence the fatigue during long distance touring trip. If the windshield is all the way slating till the edge, then the wind maybe directed to my helmet which at least better.

Maybe I should consider powerbronze as per your recommendation. Thanks ya.

You are most welcome. Its up to individual.FYI on Puig,1 of this guy have a crack inside his Puig double bubble wind shield. Its most likely due to lousy QC inspection. Its from a CBR 1000 lastest model.Something to share.

Hi guys, I am posting my PUIG for sales, link. I will go for the Powerbronze instead. Not saying Puig is bad. It does match well with the outlook of the bike. It just that, it don't serve my needs that well. Anyway interested party can sms to deal.

Good luck on your sales:thumb:

Okay, here is my INITIAL review after installation. No fast riding yet. Therefore I can only judge based on visual stuff.

Puig is more handsome looking of the both. Think of it as lean and tone while PowerBronze (PB) as stout and burly. Puig match the streamline of the bike better. The double bubble or hump flow better with the shape of the front cowling. Plus the smoke colour has a blue tint which match my bike gun metal gray colour.

PB's hump however is more wide and tall. Maybe this will helps in directing the wind out of my shoulder? Not sure yet. But for sure the cockpit now look more spacious. Like you upgrade from a 4rm to a 5rm flat. If I am more concern about the outlook, I will definately use back my Puig. However now I will need to test the PB windshield first before deciding.

Here is the pictures,

Side view of the Puig. You can see the hump flatten near the edge.

Puig with a straight slanting angle,

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u311/mark13x/IMAG0063.jpg

Both windshield stack up, PB on top. You can see the hump of the PB is bigger.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u311/mark13x/IMAG0060.jpg

Hopefully it will performed to my expectation. If not, I can use the PB as a frisbee. By the way, can't join you guys on fri night. I will be going in Malaysia for my test ride. Have fun.
