3.2l with oil filter changed. Therefore you will need to buy 4 bottles. You can keep the remaining oil for the next oil change.

 

Of course it is okay to use semi. It just break down faster than fully but it should still be able to last you 5k km bah. Not sure about it cause I have been using fully all these while and changed at 8~9k km. I will try 10k km for my current oil.

Erm.. as long the engine oil light doesn't light up should be okay. But generally it better not to, you might end up spend more money for repair inorder to save a small money.

 

But sometimes, some bikes require less oil than the manual stated, around -100~200ml. It can be due to some leftover oil trap inside at a certain corner which is unable to sip out. Or the engineer decided slightly more is better than less.

 

How to determine? Pour to a round down figure. For example, 3.2L for busa, then I top up 3L first. Start the bike and let it idle for around 5mins. Rev the bike abit but make sure the bike is warm up first. Don't do it immediately after starting bike. This is a good practise as you can also see if the oil filter is secure or not. If not, you will see oil leaking out from the oil seal.

 

Then off the bike and wait for around 5 mins... Check the oil level, I usually go for slightly above low. If not enough, I top up. And done.
