For new bike, just wondering....if change to synthetics oil..how about the warranty, is it still valid? If so, you can straight change to fully synthetics but make sure all the mineral oil is drained.

Thanks

Yeah,as what Bugsy said. Go Guan Hoe workshop for servicing.Cause your bike is still under warranty. You'll just need to pay for the engine oil,no need to pay for worksmanship. Keke thats what i read in the warranty card :cheeky:

For me, I usually change syn or semi-syn engine oil n got it change at every 3000km or 3mths in d way which ever come 1st.

Tat is d best for d bike if u compare d engine noise level after 2 year using a fully syn oil n change every 5000km or a semi-syn oil at every 3000km. Believe me anot, it's up to U.....

if u can take it (speed) by all means do the hard run in.. but i heard tat hard run in is for pple who intend to only use their bikes for 2 years tops 3 years as engine condition will deteriorate faster den those which uses normal run in-s.

for me, I did the normal run in.. it works well too..

Posted

ok will do the normal run in.. went to bike shop jus now to take a look at my lovely busa........ wa sehz........ shiok.. already there.. but still cannot follow me home.. sighz..........

but at least got something back home first.. the pillion seat. hahaa.. cuz i take some stuff home first rather than thurs must carry everything back...

jus now the bike shop show me the headlight protector.. wa lau.. got one chinese word there.. so scary.. i ask them to change to something like "hayabusa" or "suzuki" . hehehee

Posted

oh ya.. forgot to add one more thing.. i went to start the engine.. then slowly turn the trottle.. to my surprise.. it is so responsive and can feel the huge energy bursting out... wa seh.. solid.. the bike shop ppl say 1st gear can reach 110km.. true or not?
