when the engine is not running, your bike's coolant pump will also not be running thus resulting in the temp continuing to climb when u restart the ignition (without starting the engine)

Welcome to the fast world. Nothing beats the true land speed show on a GPS. All bikes inheret speedo errors. Hayabusa has the least amount the rest as the speed climbs up.

Hayabusa speedo 280km/hr is faster than most fast bikes. Supersports are light and float on high speed, whats left on their speedo is all about wheel spinning to get the reading only. At same speed 280, you will find busa walking away from them.

If you can conquor 280, rest of the remaining Busa's ability shouldn't be a problem. Please don't ever get your ego carry away, please "play it SAFE", don't wish to hear another Busa Tragedy. Doesn't matter who win or loose, learn defensive riding ... makes you live long and enjoy the beast.

ermmm...fan is working...means sensor is working..relay too...but is the water pump working in the first place? can you see the coolant moving?

road tax /yr $$$$500

insurance/yr . depends on age

maintainence /mth. depends on how u ride yr busa..

fc/tank also depends on how u ride.. but my best fc is 21.7 km/l with full system rs3 pipe.

Cooling system is one thing many overlook ... is important.

Here are some cooling mods can be done on the Busa;

01. Muzzy fan replaced

02. Dual fan using GSXR OEM fan assembly

03. Engine Ice (better than water wetter IMO)

04. Using Honda accord sensor for lower temp to activate fan

 

What I did is number 01 and 03, is good enough. If big bore than different story.

Nice slow ride back on my slow bike. Only make loud noise but nothing else ...

That map is only for people who wants to "Chiong" in KL. This weekend going to KL Zouk, come join me. If you drunk don't expect me carry you back ... LOL

maybe u can confirm that by letting ur bike idle till the fan comes on..

 

if it doesn't, there could be several causes.. the most immediate one wld probably point to a faulty radiator cap... check it first.. it's quite impt to have proper cooling on the bike.

i've too experienced overheating. Observed tat the fan did actually turn on but stopped thereafter. It was also then the bike overheated.

 

Wad may be the possible cause?
