Hey Budd, no trouble at all.

Lunch at that area sound good but my timing is too unpredictable even I am there often.

Whenever you are not in the night shift, in the evening, you can always buzz me for a coffee session.

ok cool :thumb:

Hi,

I am having the same problem but I've solved it long time ago by cleaning the inside of the tank. All 99 busa and the siblings like SRAD 750 and GSX1000 have the same problem with rusting fuel tank. You can also apply a certain layer of paint/fiber glass to fix the problem permanently but you need to cut open the bottom of the tank which I did not do.

Remove the tank...remove the pillar type fuel filter.... clean both items in whatever way you think appropriate. In my case I used petrol and water, and rinse and shake it over and over again.....bingo...the second time I check the tank of rust was about 2 months ago and there is a minimum amount of rust..the trick is always fill up your petrol to the top when you are leaving the bike parks for days...hope this helps...

No ... I think you got me wrong also ... I meant "automotives" in general.

I also upgraded my car brake system ... Steel braided hoses, flushed and use high temp brake fluid with 500 degrees brake pads ... Sweeeee ...

The problem my friend is not that the breaks were not responsive. He dashed cross the road so fast and too near to me that I had no time to do anything. Apparently he is a fresh Singaporean of ex Indian Nationality. It seems the way he drives maybe okay in India but not in Singapore. Here we obey the traffic rules. At the first place, he not only did not respect the stop sign, but he was not even supposed to cross the road because there was a sign of compulsory right turn.

Aiyooo ... You cannot compare Cars with Bikes. Body to weight ratio is way too much compare to bikes.

Frankly, I always love to blow at Ferrari an Lambos on the road whenever I am riding my Busa ... LOL ... They cannot beat you in any gear.

Given a EVO with 540bhp that beat the shiit out all Italian supercars, that guy still eat my Busa dust. Car like that gets overheat pretty fast.

Till date, only one car in production that beats very bits of Hayabusa is Bugatti Veyron.

Are you really serious with this info??? :lovestruck:
