Sound like ggod stuff.

Care to post a pic of that thing and share some tech info on this item ?

i also bought it i put it in my baby busa.Do take note, that stuff defintely have a life span, how long nobody knows and its not stated. It the thing stop working, whats the after effect? For busa you must put at least 2,of course the more the merrier.By the way the MO closed.

Product: Mr. HI-OCT Fuel Catalyst

Origin: Japan

Suggested Retail Price: $35

MO Price: $27

What does this catalyst do?

A catalyst is a chemical substance that increases the rate of a reaction without being consumed, after the reaction it can potentially be recovered from the reaction mixture chemically unchanged. The catalyst lowers the activation energy required, allowing the reaction to proceed more quickly or at a lower temperature. In a fuel cell, the catalyst facilitates the reaction of oxygen and hydrogen

Basically for hydrocarbons fuel, be it Singapore or anywhere in this world, the hydrocarbons molecules are structurally different with variations like straight grouped, ring etc. Different molecular structure combust differently in different atmosphere. Basically what the catalyst does is to break it down to uniformally similar smaller grouped molecular structured hydrocarbon cells, which provides a cleaner and more complete combustion within your chamber.

How long does this catalyst last?

No lifespan. The material doesn't get "eaten" away by fuel corrosion nor deteriorate into a different material. Most of the "lost effect" could be placebo effect, as one could be used to the improvement and doesn't "feel" it anymore.

Will it work for my yamahonsuzusaki CKRX1to1400RR?

Yes, it works for all engines that required fuel (hydrocarbons) for combustion.

How big is this thing?

A strip of metallic material, very convenient for motorcycles to slip into their fuel tanks. No thicker than your pinkie finger.

How many for class 2B, 2A and 2 bikes?

The recommended dosage is 1 strip of catalyst for all motorcycles. Personally, i recommend 2 strip for litre(1000cc) bikes due to their high hp.

This works for petrol only?

No, it works for all hydrocarbons, including diesel too. I dumped 2 into my van, power~~~

What if there's no improvement after putting it in?

Sorry if you encountered that, same thing like ppl said you buy a posche and you get the girls. What if you can't get any?

On a serious note, it could be due to your premium fuel. Drop a notch in the quality of your fuel and try the effect again. I'm using very bad quality diesel from industrial areas and this helps reduce the color of my smoke that i blasted out daily from dark grey to lightly white smoke. I'm contented with that. No problems with NEA at least.

How is this different from other brands of fuel catalysts?

Basically they works around the same theory. However for catalystic materials, there are alot that reacts with hydrocarbon. Like platinum powdered onto thin metal/cloth, magnesium sulfate etc. Me for one, does not care a hoot what it's made of as long as it doesn't melt in my tank and it works. This brand however, is catered for motorcycle as the geometric size is absolutely a breeze for bikers to slot it in.

I'm afraid i don't know how to install, can you do that for me?

I charge a word of thanks for it. You open your fuel cap, i install it for you in 1 second.

Will the thing clog up the fuel tank?

No, the catalyst will not clog your fuel tank, or rather, i believe your question is referring to clogging your fuel pump outlet. This strip material is inter-woven (like carbon fiber) and there are no flat surface that will seal up the hole that your fuel pump is drawing petrol from.

How do u actually remove it after u slot into the tank?

You may have to get your mechanics to assist you on that. Most likely the tank has to be taken out and tip upside down for it to drop out.

You mean you fill it into your tank just once?

Its not fill,u just throw it inside your fuel tank, thats simple. But if you want to take it out.Woohoo alot of work you got to dismantle your tank and shake it out of other methods

Frankly, sometimes back I was offered for this design sliders for not more than 55sing with 10 sets orders including freight charges. After I have discussed and advice by some experienced track riders and mechanics, in event of normal sliding down, because of the long screws, you may need to change the whole stator housing in state of just the cover. The design looks convincing but functionality is still a question. I am not keen for money spend + added extra stuff + may screw you up further vs just changing stator cover.

So I give up the mass order.

Totally agree, after some research, the slider is not strong enough to withstand heavy impact as we always go for high speed and thats what the bike is build for.The metal that is attached to the mounting point of the screws,if due to hard impact break, the screws attached to it will also be greatly affected.Look carefully at the picture of how the screws are mounted at the casing.Theres a gap in between. If theres no gap the impact or force will be able to withstand much stronger or should i say bigger impact.Look closely how many mounting points.IF i am not wrong 3 or 4 thats all.I may be wrong please do not quote me.

under heavy impact.. what things dont break?

i believe for normal skid.. it helps jus like the frame sliders

Jus for your info.. longer frame slider hazard of acting as a ark for your bike been flip from the skidded left to right or right to left

fYI.. if high speed accident happen.. who will ever think a small little wind screen break N slash a expri rider throat N cost the death.

so tell me... will u 1 2 fix your double bubble??

The MO person I got the fuel catalyst from state that MotoWorld got sell. Tink should be ard $35 each. For busa must have at least 2 cos big capacity. Its jus a small strip of metal of ard 5cm long.

To remove, have to take out tank, drain the petrol, and over turn the tank to take it out. It will not scratch the inside of the tank as its edge is round.

I personally feel its worth a try cos I tried.

True motorworld is selling but more expensive than the MO.Thats the troublesome part-To remove, have to take out tank, drain the petrol, and over turn the tank to take it out.Its really up to individual, some may not like the idea.

I also tried on my baby busa, but if i uses lower octane fuel,i can feel a great difference in power loss. The bike is also not that smooth. I also bought it frok the MO.

Bro, sorry to hear that.

The Busa riders I know and here in the forum are all friendly and helpful people whom I believe will never do that to other SG bikers...
