quoted from daily devotion below , very interesting stuff -->

""Jesus' body was His veil that concealed His true glory within. During His transfiguration, He pulled back the veil of His flesh, and we simply caught a glimpse of His glory that he had with the Father before the world was (Jn. 17:5). At Jesus' death, the veil of His body was "rent in two" giving us direct access to the glory of God (Heb. 10:19-20).""

ALIVE UNTO GOD

Matthew 17:2 "And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light." MATTHEW 17:1-8, MARK 9:1-8, LUKE 9:28-36

It is interesting to compare Jesus' transfiguration with that of Moses'. Jesus' face shone as the sun and His garment was as white as the light. This certainly exceeded what Moses experienced, and yet Jesus' face did not continue to shine when He came down off of the mountain as Moses' face did. Moses' face reflected the glory of God, but Jesus was the glory of God (Jn. 1:14; Heb. 1:3). Moses put a veil over his face to conceal the glory of God (Ex. 34:29-35) so that the people would not be afraid to come near him.

Jesus' body was His veil that concealed His true glory within. During His transfiguration, He pulled back the veil of His flesh, and we simply caught a glimpse of His glory that he had with the Father before the world was (Jn. 17:5). At Jesus' death, the veil of His body was "rent in two" giving us direct access to the glory of God (Heb. 10:19-20).

We need to be conformed to the death of Christ. That is, reckoning ourselves dead to sin and all its effects upon us in the same way that Christ is dead to sin and all its effects upon Him. Many people focus on the death to sin and omit, or at least put secondarily, being alive unto God. It is assumed that if we will just die to sin, then life with Christ comes automatically.

That's no more so than physical death automatically producing physical resurrection. God doesn't need dead people. He needs people who have risen from the dead spiritually. People who know who they are "In Christ." The victorious New Testament believer is not just living for the Lord, but the risen Christ is actually living through him. There are over a hundred scriptural references to the indwelling presence of the Lord in the life of a believer. Look into the Word, and see what God has to say about you.

So I was surprised to learn that large swaths of Kong Hee’s daily devotionals are lifted from other sources — without attribution. This unexpected revelation was brought to light by an anonymous blogger ...QUOTE]

I have a different stand in this. God's kingdom operates differently from the secular world. If the Holy Spirit inspires me to write something which change lives, the words don't belong to me. It is His. I am happy if more people copy or plagiarise it & please don't give credit to me while copying , but to Jesus!!!

I also try not to comment anything bad about any God's anointed servants -coz they're still humans & can make mistakes just like us. Even though they make mistakes, they're still God's anointed.

2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it!

Kong Hee Fatt Choy ... if someone makes personal mistakes to me; i can forgive.

if some “rojak preachers” preach "babylonian teaching" ... they are subject to the double curses that is found in Gal 1:8~9 ...

WHY u may ask ???

the reason is very simple ... they are leading many sheeps astray :faint:

1 Corinthians 5:12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside?

Have you not heard and seen?

well, i have heard and seen the damages of what "babylonian teaching" can lead to :(

maybe you can tahan ... i cannot; and i choose to let the truth be made known.

Mic 3:5 Thus says the Lord: Concerning the false prophets who make My people err, when they have anything good to bite with their teeth they cry

Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge

Sometimes, the only way to defend THE truth is to fight

When the Israeli commandos stormed the Turkish ship, did they lift up the "PEACE" sign and kiss the enemies ? maybe turn to the other cheek huh ?

hope this will set you thinking and maybe re-evaluate your stand

that devotional was sold for money lah

“Renewing Your Spiritual Life Vol 2″ — which is sold for $14 — to find that it contains the allegedly plagiarised devotionals. Cheat Grace even pointed out that Kong Hee claimed at the back of his book that he is “sharing his insights from the Bible”.

plagiarise - take without referencing from someone else's writing or speech; of intellectual property ... (criminal law) an act punishable by law

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/plagiarise

This is in fact an intellectual theft which is against one of the 10 commandments :faint:

thou shall not steal

Ironically, the preacher that preaches so much on LAW base works (10 commandments) ... fails to keep them :(

and also approves and defending his wife dancing like a slut, drinking "china wine" :dozed:

That is why i often pray for “rojak preachers” to realise where they have gone wrong and start to become grace-based so that God can use them mightily for His kingdom work.

if preachers rely on their own smarts or worse yet, criticise those who have been raised by God to preach the message of grace, then the sad fact is that God cannot continue to bless their ministries (they are actually behaving like Saul in kicking against the goads) and it will only be a matter of time before their flock starts to dwindle as well.

Bible says when we just need a tiny bit of faith, size of a mustard seed to get our prayers answered. Mountains of troubles shall be moved, when we speak to it in Jesus' name. But the devil can always put thoughts of fear & doubts into our mind - if we do nothing about it, it will slowly destroy our faith! No wonder many peoples are not having answered prayers. So I proposed there is 1 thing we can do, you can speak vocally to yourself, "In Jesus' name, I rebuke the spirit of fear & spirit of doubt." When you speak aloud these words, those negative thoughts will stopped suddenly! It's supernatural but it really works for me to get my prayers answered. Remember what Ephesian say about we not fighting against flesh & blood but against spiritualities. The spiritual realm is the real world that sustain the physical world. The physical world will pass away some day, but the spiritual world will remains forever.

June 2nd BUILD FAITH, DESTROY DOUBT

Matthew 17:20 "And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." MATTHEW 17:9-20; MARK 9:9-27; LUKE 9:37-42

The disciples' unbelief in this instance was not a disbelief in God's power to produce deliverance, but rather a "natural" kind of unbelief that came from a hardened heart that was more sensitive to what it saw than to what it believed. Jesus said that a very small amount of faith (a "mustard seed") is sufficient to remove a mountain, if no unbelief is present to hinder it.

Jesus was disappointed that His disciples had not been able to cast this devil out. Most people would have had no criticism of these disciples. After all, it wasn't normal to have power over evil spirits. However, Jesus had already given these disciples power and authority over all devils. These disciples had also already used this power and authority successfully on previous occasions, making them more accountable than others. They weren't just normal men any longer. They had a supernatural ability and calling.

We also receive power from on high when the Holy Ghost comes upon us, and it becomes our normal Christian service to use this power to witness to others.

We can always look around and find plenty of Christians who are not using this power, but 2 Corinthians 10:12 says that comparing ourselves among ourselves is not wise. Most Christians are living so far below what God intended for them that when someone begins to live a normal Christian life (according to God's standard), then everyone thinks he's abnormal. We will be successful when we not only build our faith but destroy our doubts.

Fear can destroy your faith; the faith that is supposed to move the mountain of problems according to Matthew 21:21. Many prayers become unanswered when the person allows his minds to dwell on worries that he can do nothing about. Then wonder why his prayers are unanswered. Read on below for how to rid the fears & let faith arise.

Free From Fear Kenneth Copeland

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. - 2 Timothy 1:7

What would you think if I told you that you could live without fear? Would you believe me if I said that despite what you saw on the news tonight, you could be perfectly at peace? Impossible? Unrealistic? No!

You see, fear isn't just a reaction to external circumstances. It's a spiritual force. It begins inside a person. And it is totally destructive. In fact, fear is Satan's primary weapon. He moves in response to fear, the way God moves in response to faith. He challenges the promises of God with it.

An excellent example of this is found in Matthew 14 when Jesus invited Peter to come to Him on the water. "But when he [Peter] saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me" (verse 30).

What enabled Peter to walk on the water? His faith in the Word of Jesus. What caused Peter to sink? He saw the wind boisterous and he was afraid. It wasn't the wind that defeated him, it was his fear of it! He looked at his circumstances, gave into the fear, and the result was defeat. If Peter had kept his focus on Jesus, his faith would never have wavered. All the blustering and blowing in the world couldn't have drawn him off course.

Faith is developed by meditating on God's Word. Fear is developed by meditating on Satan's lies. Such fearful meditation is called worrying. Don't do it!

The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit. Use it to fight Satan every time he comes against you. Hold up your shield of faith and quench all of his fiery darts. Speak words of faith and fear will depart.

Felix Manz' Martyrdom

On January 5, 1527 Felix was led from prison to a boat. On the way he gave praises to God and preached to the people gathered to watch him die.

One of Zwingli's priests went along, still trying to convert him. Manz's brother and mother were there as well, urging him to stand fast.

Old Anabaptist drawing

(public domain) old drawing of Anabaptists

He was put into a boat on the river Lammat. His hands were tied, and he was made to squat down. A stick was stuck behind his knees and above his elbows to immoblize him, and he was taken to the middle of the river.

There, with his mother, brother, and his fellow "rebaptizers" (Anabaptists) shouting encouragement, he was tipped into the lake, a final death by baptism.

He was not horrified nor afraid. His last words were, "Into your hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit."

WHEN ANGER IS WRONG

- You may ask, 'If anger is positive, then why has it cause so much trouble in the world?'

- We have the tendency to take every good gift of God and distort it into something perverse. The gifts of reason, love, and so much more have all been perverted.

-The enemy (satan) has used many strategies to twist God's intention for human anger. One of the most powerful is to make us think that all of our anger is of equal value : 'If I perceive that I have been wronged, then I have been wronged.' This illusion leads us to conclude that we always have a right to feel angry.

- As we have seen, we bear the image of God. Each of us has on some level a concern for righteousness, fairness and justice. Whenever we encounter that which we believe to be unrighteous, unkind, or unjust, we experience anger. Those who seek to love as God does should believe that anger is to motivate us to take positive, loving action to seek to set the wrong right; and where there has been a relationship, to restore the relationship with the wrongdoer.

Anger is not designed to stimulate us to do destructive things to the people who may have wronged us, nor does it give us license to say or do destructive things to our neighbours.

Anger's fundamental purpose is to motivate us to positive, loving action that will leave things better than we found them.

FORBEARANCE is turning the matter of justice over to God

There are times when the best Christian option is to admit that we have been wronged but to conclude that confronting the person or repetitive condemnation of the person who did wrong holds little or no redemptive value. Therefore we choose to accept the wrong and commit the person to God.

This is releasing the anger to God. It is giving up the right to take revenge, which according to the Scripture, is always God's prerogative (Romans 12:19), and it is refusing to let what has happened eat away at your own sense of well-being. We have a conscious choice to overlook the offense. This is what the Bible calls forbearance, and it's turning the matter of justice over to God, knowing that He is totally aware of the situation. Thus, God can do to the individual whatever He judges to be wise. You are choosing not to be an emotional captive to the wrong that was perpetrated against you.

The Holy Bible reads 'Be angry, and do not sin', do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. - Ephesians 4:26-27

If you think you have an issue with someone. Or felt that someone has hurt you in the past or present. And you wish to turn this matter to God. Then as Jesus said,

'Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.'

Then pray this prayer so that it may edify your Spirit man and walk in faith.

'Lord, You know what has happened. You know how hurt I am, how angry I feel. But I really believe that the best thing for me to do in this situation is to accept the wrong and turn the person over to You. You know not only his/her actions but his/her motives. I know that You are a righteous God, so I trust You to do what is right by that person.

I also release my anger to You. The anger stimulated me to think through the situation, and I am taking a step I believe to be best. Therefore, the matter is over. My anger has served its purpose, and I release it to You. Help me not to be controlled by any residual thoughts and feelings that come to me over the next few days. I want to use my life constructively and not be hindered by this event. Thank You that I am Your child and You will take care of me.'

and if over the next few days or weeks your mind reverts to the wrong done, and emotions of hurt and anger return, take those thoughts and feelings to God and say,

'Lord, You know what I am remembering right now, and You know the feelings that I am feeling. But I thank You that I have dealt with that, and I release these thoughts and feelings to You. Help me now to do something constructive with my life the rest of this day.'

Romans 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God is irrevocable.

Strength Made Perfect June 4, 2010

Devotional by Gloria Copeland

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. – 2 Corinthians 12:9

When you run into an impossible situation, a situation you simply don't have the strength or the ability to handle, are you often tempted to simply give up and accept defeat? Don't! Instead shout, "Glory!" because the Word says God's strength is about to be made perfect in you.

The word translated "strength" in this scripture is dunamis. It means "God's miracle-working power." Just think about that. When your human strength ends, God has promised that His miraculous power will bring you through!

If you'll look in Acts 14, you can see that promise in action. The apostle Paul was stoned by a group of Jews, taken out of the city and left for dead. Paul's human strength had ended. He was absolutely powerless.

But the disciples gathered around him and prayed, and the Lord raised him up and he went on his way. In other words, when Paul didn't have enough human strength to overcome, God's miracle-working power was sufficient for him. It enabled him to be an overcomer in spite of his weakness!

So, if you are facing a crisis today. If you're sick and medicine has failed you. If your finances are out of control. If your family is falling apart. If bad habits have you hopelessly bound. If you've done absolutely all you know to do and you still haven't gotten results. Then rejoice! For when human strength ends, the power of God excels! Only believe! God's grace is sufficient for you!

Scripture Reading: Acts 14:1-22

God Uses The Weak To Confound The Mighty

1 Corinthians 1:27

27But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

When you are faced with a big challenge, do you automatically look for the most powerful means to solve the problem? Well, my friend, that is not thinking the way God thinks. The Bible tells us that it pleases God to use what the world considers weak, foolish, base and despised to bring to nothing things which are mighty.

“What is that in your hand?” God asked.

“A rod,” Moses said. And with that rod, he performed miracles and confounded the might of Pharaoh.

“Five loaves and two fish,” a little boy said. And with that little boy’s lunch, Jesus fed 5,000 men, and his disciples gathered 12 baskets full of leftovers.

“The jawbone of an ass,” Samson said. And with that, he slew a thousand Philistines, who were the enemies of God’s people.

“Five stones and a sling,” said David the shepherd boy. And with one of his stones and the sling, he brought down Goliath, the mighty Philistine champion.

At a recent conference for Hokkien-speaking pastors, Pastor Mark, our Hokkien and Mandarin services pastor, realized how his spoken Hokkien pales in comparison to the refined and flawless Hokkien spoken by the other pastors there. Yet, it pleases God to use Pastor Mark’s colloquial Hokkien to lead many dialect-speaking folks, especially the elderly, to Christ.

Many of these elderly folks are testifying that for the first time in their lives, they are set free completely from fears of debilitating diseases, loneliness, deep-rooted superstitions, generational curses, the ravages of old age and even death.

My friend, don’t despise what seems weak and insignificant to the world. God can use them to bring down the giants in your life!

I am currently using 2 devotional books, Destined to Reign by Joseph Prince & Faith to Faith by Kenneth Copeland. I think both are equally awesome & can do wonders to your spiritual walk with Jesus. I encourage all of you to grab hold of anyone of these books & spend a quiet time with Him every day.

May God bless all of you in Jesus' name.

27But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

Brother Tim ... bless your darling heart.

Pastor Joseph Prince, who appears on the front cover of the June issue of Charisma magazine, a leading Christian publication in the United States, with more than 600,000 readers.

"In this issue, Charisma magazine explores the phenomenal growth Joseph's international broadcast ministry has experienced since its inception in 2007, delving as well into the essence of Joseph's message – the gospel of grace wrapped up in the perfect, finished work of our glorious Savior, Jesus Christ – which he began preaching radically almost 13 years ago.
