Chain Lube by yourself - 1 man job

Forget about having to push your bike to lube your chain.

hassle free method, no need to push to lube , 1 minute job

do it all by yourself,as and when you wish and need to,no need to ask for help.

 

PLS handle bar lock your bike before proceeding.

 

1) Get a piece of thick rag/cloth

2) Fold the cloth up

3) Squat behind the rear tyre/chain

4) As you squat, knees bent, align your knee below the exhaust

5) Insert the cloth between your knee and exhaust

6) One hand holding the chain lube , one hand ready to spin the tyre/rim

7) Get ready,using knee to apply upward force on exhaust to lift tyre of the ground

8) One hand spin tyre and one hand spray

 

1 man job , hassle free, do it in 1 min, "semi-professional method"

 

I have tried in on 2B bikes. Bikes possible to use this method to lube chain includes honda wave, 125Z, spark, sonic, TZM, KRR, SP, RXZ, RXK etc etc....

 

There maybe a possibility to do it on 2A bikes, super 4, CBR400, RVF, GSX400 etc

 

DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!

not juz rs125 cannot..

i think yr method will fail for some cases due to the length and the angle of the exhaust..

or u can use one arm and leg to support the exhaust and the other hand turn the wheel and spray then repeat again for the spraying the rest of the chain..

this is wat i do if i lube my chain by myself...

Maybe can improvise..Instead you pull your bike to the left..Rear wheel go up then spin and spray..Stand/squat/sit on the left also..But cannot use the exhaust pipe to tilt your bike..Must pull the right side of your bike (rear) with your left/right hand whichever you prefer..

squat behind the bike/tyre/chain

 

if yours is underseat, you have to use your head to " lift the exhaust " !

anyway, i have yet to read on this method in the forum, or maybe i missed it

 

BUT this is used by mechanics in workshops also, sometime due to shortage of manpower issues or causing too much inconvenience to call for help

 

would just like to share only.

This can dent aftermarket exhausts, tried and proven on Yoshis, YOU"VE BEEN WARNED!

i went to jln tukang few years ago to purchase a 2nd car jack.. 4 bucks onli..

dun tell mi the reason that the jack cannot bring around..

anyway is bad to lube the chain without letting the oil to set in for few hours..

the car jack alternative is for those who lube the chain after reaching back for home for the day.. and left it overnite..
