Forget about having to push your bike to lube your chain.

hassle free method, no need to push to lube , 1 minute job

do it all by yourself,as and when you wish and need to,no need to ask for help.

 

PLS handle bar lock your bike before proceeding.

 

1) Get a piece of thick rag/cloth

2) Fold the cloth up

3) Squat behind the rear tyre/chain

4) As you squat, knees bent, align your knee below the exhaust

5) Insert the cloth between your knee and exhaust

6) One hand holding the chain lube , one hand ready to spin the tyre/rim

7) Get ready,using knee to apply upward force on exhaust to lift tyre of the ground

8) One hand spin tyre and one hand spray

 

1 man job , hassle free, do it in 1 min, "semi-professional method"

 

I have tried in on 2B bikes. Bikes possible to use this method to lube chain includes honda wave, 125Z, spark, sonic, TZM, KRR, SP, RXZ, RXK etc etc....

 

There maybe a possibility to do it on 2A bikes, super 4, CBR400, RVF, GSX400 etc

 

DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!

i've been doing that since i had my first bike.. the aprilia extrema RS125. It is possible.. you don't need to push the exhaust pipe, any part of the bike, you can pull or push and balance on the side stand can already. CBR400 is very easy as it's very balanced in the middle, super 4 is very hard to do. YMMV :thumbs:

i posted b4, buy a mop wood stick then cut to your swingarm height which you want to place...then later lift rear up and place stick at the swingarm position and wa la you got your rear up and ready to lube the chain...easy and ceap at $2 maybe?

y so much trouble? juz take a spanner which is long enough to lift ur bike frm the stomach of ur exhuast & the grd..den ur rear wheel will b lifted liao..den u can lube happily & easily liao lohz :sweat:

but what if the bike's rear is too heavy to lift up in the first place ? I'm riding a phantom 150 btw..

There is an easier way to rotate your rear wheel, lube chain and adjust without having to lift bike. I use a simple device made from 2 x 120mm long bolts, some washers and 4 x 50mm plastic wheels and 2 straps of 50mm x 300mm x 3mm steel.

 

Basically the 2 steel straps have holes through which the 2 large bolts fit through. Each bolt holds 2 plastic wheels, spaced with a few wahers or a suitable sized tube. The bikes rear wheel is placed onn the rollers and rests on them, front wheel on ground of course.

 

The plastic wheels allow the rear wheel to spin in either direction. Its simple device and would cost very little to make by any half competent workshop.

is something like a simple device wif roller at each end of the metal strip..

so that the rear wheel is place on top of them and able to turn freely..
