Next up: 4 mountain ride in Msia (postponed due to hotel unavailibility)

Go up the mountain find tortoise..

 

1)Bukit Tinggi

2)Bukit Genting

3)Bukit Fraser

4)Cameron

 

 

 

***Alternatively plan will be up soon***

 

We going to Pulau Redang instead. Speed of 90km/h remains.

 

 

 

4 mountain ride date tentatively set as 4th to 7th June 2011.

 

Will vist Ampang Look-Out Point to check it out too.

 

*no concrete plans

Hi.. Glad you expressed your interest in riding north. I would suggest you start off with simple trips with other groups.

 

I dun mean to be arrogant but my type of riding is NOT suitable for beginners. I may ride slow but I cover alot of ground.

 

That being said, welcome to the wild side. I may post up simple trips from time to time and you are welcomed to join in if circumstances permit. ^5

I also planning a big one this October. Just hoping I got the guts to pull it off. You don't so god mode lei.. Leave some road for me to explore..

I was thinking camping along the line of Cameron, gua musang and Terengganu, taking route 9 up and route 3 back. If no suitable campsite den find alternative shelter.

 

*I recce a few nice campsite along Terengganu to Kuantan.

haha no prob. im more interested in trips to the highlands in malaysia to escape the tropical heat once in a while! anyway, im organizing (organized) a trip to vietnam, tentatively from 2-18july, starting from saigon and ending in hanoi, with a total distance of at least 1700km but if time permits, maybe 2200km with a loop round the northwest highlands. i've previous riding experience in vietnam too, riding from city to city, past the famous Hai Van Pass that top gear mentioned as 'the most amazing coastal road i've been to'. I am used to riding for 4hrs non-stop (without toilet or fuel stops) hopefully i july come back u have more trips planned? :D

Food for thought:

 

A little bird was flying south for the Winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field.

 

While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him.

 

As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out!

 

He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

 

A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

 

Morals of the story:

(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.

(2) Not everyone who gets you out of **** is your friend.

(3) And when you're in deep ****, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

No $$ stay hotel trip: 4th to 7th June 2011

 

Eat simple, sleep simple & ride simple.

 

Itinerary: plan along the way.

Speed: 90km/h

Mostly trunk road

 

*should be visiting the 4 peaks (gua musang / lake kenyir / terengganu if possible)

* will look for alternative shelter if no suitable campsite.

*baths at R&Rs

1st April 2009 - Bought 1st bike, a 2nd hand TA200 Honda Phantom cruiser (Still riding it)

6th Aug 2009 - Bought a used but overhauled Suzuki DR200se scrambler (Scrapped in 2010)
