Help Needed: Speeding Tix in Malaysia

Hi Guys,

 

Very unlucky, just got a ticket for speeding along NSH and this time round they didn't want "coffee money" from me but insisted on giving me the actual ticket with a speed of 184kph tagged to it.

 

Questions:

 

(1) What will happen if i don't pay?

(2) Where to pay this? JB Police Station? Custom?

(3) How much will my fine be? The officer who issued this claims that the max fine for this is RM300 and i could ask for a discount somemore. True?

(4) Will the SPF (SG TP) be informed of this (speeding) offense?

As To What I Know, If You Dont Pay, The Next Time U Enter Msia, When U Gonna Leave, Those TPs At The Custom Will Stop You & They Will Take Away Ur Passport & Make You Pay. No Money Then Ask Someone To Come Over. That Happened For A Friend. Duno Whether Thats How The System Works Or They Just Bully My Friend.

 

& Yeah In Malaysia, Somehow Their Speeding Tickets Can Appeal Easily One Lehh. My Dad Was Fined Once For Speeding & When During Appeal He Just Cook Up A Story Saying He Had To Rush Over To A Friend's Funeral ASAP & They Charged Him Half The Amount.

 

& Also I Dun Think Spore Side Will Be Informed.

come to pay it's rm150.. And it's within one

month grace period. Rm150 equivalent to a parking on footway in sg

if your ride your bike in again they will ask you to pay on the spot.

or you go in malaysia in a car,system shows you still have not pay the fine,same pay on the spot

Ok bro,

 

If you are not going to ride in Malaysia with this bike. Then you do not have to pay for this fine. Of course when you sold off your bike with the current plate no, it would be good if you can inform the new buyer of the outstanding fine.

 

If you are planning to ride again into Malaysia again. I suggest you pay the fine within one month. Its 150rm. For a speed of 184km/h, 150rm=65SGD is well worth already. In Singapore, Fine, disqualification of license and Jail time awaiting for you.

 

Lastly you can take chance and do not pay the fine. One good day, while you are preparing to go for a bike trip with hotel rooms booked with friends. The damage could be worse that you can imagine if Malaysia custom hold you for not paying the speeding fine.

 

Nowadays i would always planned my move off timing as early as 6am. Hope to clear pagoh area by 7am. hahahahh

hey TS its strongly recommended that u pay off the fine b4 u travel to Msia again to avoid serious complications.if ur late in paying fine here in SG,the charges will get compounded and subsequently u may get hauled to court.so the same may happen in Msia soooo..just pay up,Sir.u do the crime,u do the time
