Help, got into an accident..

well, i have black & white signed by him agreeing to pay me by fri. If he doesnt, should i go to a NPP and report or straight away go ubi TP hq to report it? The passport he gave me is a photocopy of his passport and its genuine picture of himself and his particulars. What makes me suspect him of not having a license is that during the incident he doesnt take pictures/call friends for advice and just listen to what i say and he just ok ok all the way. He doesnt even ask for my ic/licence and doesnt take my bike number plate.

 

b/w+sign+his identity can sue him in court. no point claim from insurance or report police, since he no lic, court will sentence him to jail (maybe) n u get nothing. for this case it's prv settlement, with the paper can go small claim court sue. just threaten say either he pay or go jail, which he choose.

to claim insurance, u muz pay for the repair fee 1st den wait for the insurance company to repay u back?

 

depend on case, ur workshop will fork out the % of repair cost.

 

say ur case is 100% claimable, they repair n u dont have to pay a single cent. but if later found the claim is 90%, u pay the workshop 10%.

Yes, it may sound harsh but people like him don't deserve a chance to be on the roads endangering this lives of all other road users.

It is lucky for him now that there was no one injured in the accident.

No point "extorting" more compensation from him and letting him go off so easily.

Hi guys, he paid only half of the amount and now refused to ans my calls and smses. If i were to go to the police the next day, the incident happened on 4/4/2010. Will it be still valid? What will the police do? I have withnesses and black & white written by him to repay me the full amount for my repairs that i paid beforehand. Pictures are taken too. possible, since accident can be dealt with private settlement so confirm got delay in administrative mah.

 

but the fact is he no licence n refuse to pay, go n file report. make him get what he deserve like driving with no lience, owner of the car have to declare stolen or even allow him to drive n the owner have to ans.

 

as for ur claims, i suppose u cant claim his car insurer as he got no license so its only legal way of lawyer n court.

 

did u took his pic at the accident site, for his case of no license if his pic is taken, its even power.

faster go npp file the report get them to call him on ur behalf, what i feel if its police call him and that guy want the police to close case. he will asap return u with cash. if not u sure can proceed on with the claims on his offence, he sure jia lat.

giv 1 last warning a sms or wat to him saying if he dun pay up the balance or wat you going to report to police. anyway u have wasted more den juz the $$$ for repair - u wasted lots of time. this type of ppl u go easy on them they think u good to eat..

 

actually i dun think juz getting back the $$$ cover all ur lost.

 

if i were in this situation, in the 1st place i will do a house visit. talk to his parent direct and not let him drag. but u are kind so u giv chance hoping that he will keep his words but now it shows that he is like abit not sincere.

 

go to the police let him jialat jialat.. if ask why u now den report juz say u wanna settle this privately loh but now he liddat leave u no choice.. they shld be will go check if he gt license or wat anot.

 

he wanna save the other half of the cost let him pay for more for his deed. the other half u shld be able to earn back in time. lucky u not injured if not i dun think $$ can cover the suffer that u endure.

 

make him pay for his deed if he does pay u back still go to the police.

What are u waiting for, since u are not really bothered about getting back the money anymore.

U have his particulars, the b&w statement signed by him, 2 witnesses and your friend.

Just go straight to TP HQ and file the report.

U can always tell the officer that u did not realise that he did not have any valid license initially and thought he would honor his words in settling the matter privately. Up till now he decide to ignore any contacts with u. Then u did a check on eddies and realise he did not have any valid license.

I think its also good if u are able to provide the particulars of the witnesses and your friend to the officer when reporting. (of cos u got to get their acknowledgment before submitting their particulars)

That time my fren drove his car wanna to park at the side of the road then a BMW is in front of him and waiting to turn out to the road after my fren have turn in. While my fren is drove into the road side / slot he mirror accidently hit onto the BMW's mirror and broke them. Nothing happen to the BMW car but the stupid mirror got broken. My fren WRX is prefectly fine. So in the end we get down to take info and the chap was only 19yr old with P plate. He dont even bother to take photo and etc.. at night he go home adn call his parent to contact my fren. Both party have a vaild Lic in the end he say my fren dont know how to drive and etc... to prevent any further pro my fren decide to pay so the BMW family send their car to C&C and claim my fren 1k for 1side of his mirror. DAMN it my poor fren 1mth pay is gone just for the damn mirror.

 

So anything just go to the parent will do, somemore is without a vaild LIc even easier. U dont care who drive the damn car as long as u get back the $$$ u support to get back can liao. Dont go do up the repair until he cfm pay u. If not he will not pay u or maybe pay u lesser.
