Horrible experience at CDC

I juz had a horrible experience at cdc. I was scheduled for my class 2a theory lesson at 1020. Ok backgrd info. I work 6 days a week mon-sat. So i had to take time off today to go for the lesson. K so the thing is i came late. I cabbed there and made a run for it and managed to reach at 1030. Bt the freaki g arsehole wont let me enter!! "sorry ur late pls go down and book next lesson". I was like wtf ah. I rush down, skip work( and imworking contract based so this time off im taking i wont be paid), u tell me easily to come back another day??? Its alr so hard for me to make time. And thia stupid driving ctr is so slow. Nex avail date is 12june. I mean come on ah b reasonable. In 10min what cud u possibly haf done?? A brief introuction at most? I went dwn and made noise to the CSO bt app she said was im sorry we r frm diff department we only hlp to boom lessons. She ask me if i wana book the 12th june one. I told he frget it im gg to another sch. As im typing this im on my way to bbdc. Even though i live in pasir ris i. Juz found out they have new super fours compared to cdc crappy fjr. And its cheaper!!! Registration only 47. Shud haf juz go thr in d first plc.

 

Moral of the story. Dun be late. Bcoz unreasonable arseholes like thqt guy exist.

BBDC i heard alot of good stories ah... Frm frens who took there. And can book tp the day u register. And they using super 4, which is my planned 2a bike so yeah. The only thing that held me back and end up going back to cdc was bcoz i was lazy to travel, and i took my 2b at cdc. Bt after todays incident, i juz found the drive to travel and chiong for my 2a at BBDC.

the concern is nt reali abt hw good the instructors are, but more of the waiting times for theory, prac slots, and tp. riding wise im quite confident alr, coz i passed my prac 1 n 2 at cdc alr, quite used to the handling of the bigger bikes alr. hopefully i go bbdc can all one shot one kill ah. dun waste money and most importantly time.

aiyah bro, even if he let you in, the system will probably won't get to register your attendance...

 

those who went for the theory on 29 may would know why. even though you already book for your lesson, but you came late, the system won't capture your attendance. so they take it as you are not present. and you would have to book another theory lesson.

 

cdc system bloody slow ah ! kinda regret enrolling 2a at cdc coz must wait till finish theory and prac 3 then can book TP. and seriously doesn't give me any encouragement to finish my class 2a faster. since i already have 2b, got bike, take things slow lor.

 

wahlao. and i die2 thought must complete theory then can book TP. didn't know that must complete both evaluation and theory to book TP. pfft ...

 

even my boyf who enrol LATER than me at BBDC will take his TP EARLIER than me. coz i have to PASS prac 3 first, then BOOK TP, which is like ... 2 or 3 months waiting time.

Exactly! Exact same sentiments. Thats y i gona convert to bbdc. Even though i spent like 100bucks at cdc alr. Freaking waste of time. And like u say cdc system

gives u no motivation to complete ur 2a at all.

its a good thing that i didn't enrol myself to CDC even though most of my frens took their 2A license there.

 

anyway, when i took my 2A at BBDC, I was there bloody early for my theory lesson cuz the system write there that those who are more than 10 mins late must rebook the theory lesson again. end up, even people who were around 15-20 mins late were also allowed inside the class and the system marked their attendance.

got ppl late.. but the instructor still allow the late comers to come in...

 

anyway... everything was smooth for me...

only thing is.. they got fewer TP dates than the rest of the other driving centers.

Bro, relax. Think u are late for more than 10mins. The CDC computer system allow ard 10-15mins fot late comers. If u are later than that, the computer will not register ur attendance even when the instructor scan ur info. It is how the computer program works.

The instructor is not unreasonable, it is becos he cannot do anything abt it cos it is computerised.

SSDC is the best. I was late for 15 mins, they still let me in. Of course, it was a b*tch to find my class and catch up with the lesson, but at least they don't penalize latecomers unfairly.

Even if you're late and the computer doesn't recognize your attendance, you should still be allowed to continue with the lesson because you've paid for it. Yes, the instructor is unreasonable.

 

no need pay mahh, thats why can "come again another day".

but it will affect you in a way that if you already passed prac 3 and you came late for theory, the computer doesnt confirm your attendance thus the status for your theory is marked as absent. so ... even if you were there physically for the lesson, it's as though you're not there. so chances are, you can't book your TP...

 

and figila, tats a long wait eh... *sigh*

for me also more or less the same waiting time. end july = my TP. =.="

 

honestly the bikes dont suck. more manageable for me, in my opinion ...
