Track Day Newbie

Hi All,

 

Firstly I am new to this forum and new to track days, so hello to everyone!

 

I am planning to attend the track day at Sepang on Thursday 15th July, does anyone have any tips or advise for going up to Sepang alone?

 

I ride an R1, so will be in the bigger bike category. Has anyone been to the 'open' track days before? I am intersted to know if it is absolute chaos on the track with many riders all at once?

 

Also any hints and tips would be appricated, like closest petrol station, changing/locker rooms are normally closed, no food and drink availible at the track etc.

 

Also like I said I am going alone so if anybody fancies riding up for the day then great!

Not recommended, but far from impossible.

 

Why dont you wait for a Rev Club or GOPRO trackday?

 

That way you will have buddies to get into trouble with.

 

Oops, I mean get out of trouble with.

 

Sorry! What I really mean is that you'll have proper people to show you how to get away with it.

I have managed to squeeze myself onto the waiting list for your next track day in July, so hopefully (well for me anyway) I manage to get a slot there.
