mine was on the 23 last month. 7.45am. moulmein and serangoon road not far u know. Haiz. maybe last month they aim TZM. lol

Premix u have to prepare a container for ur 2T.

Which I think is troublesome.

Y choose premix if a 2T tank is there?

I kena the white smoke summon 2 times.

I solve it in the end.

For my case, ultimately u just have to change 2 things.

Get a stock pipe if urs is a chamber pipe. If that does not help.

Get a mech to open up to where the 2T pipe is connected to.

Its either to remove or to add a washer to it to lessen the 2T intake.

Have forgot cos its was like 6 years ago.

Done that and 4 years nv get caught for that offence.

Either u are very dammed lucky or ur bike really in tip top condition. Not smoke at all or I should say got smoke but less lah ....ehehehe.

 

Btw just be careful if u see ppl by road side with video camera. Cause u will never now if u kena 'candid' by NEA.

 

Or 1 more times, I think 'gov' got give some moni rite sometink like GST tink. So now is the time to collect back their revenue....

don't go for the inspection. doesn't make a damned difference. got caught last year, went for my yearly inspection and passed. put that in my appeal and still had to pay my fine.

Bro, the fellow mention at serangoon rd. Bendemeer and and serangoon is 2 separate road or place. To be safe, to take those road mention abv after 7.15pm cause by that time the NEA already on stand two alert.

That's exactly what my dad did. Put mothballs into his fuel tank. Never see so much smoke coming out from his bike.

 

What I do is usually when warming up bike, smoke one stick, then rev several times, let all the thick smoke out, untill rev see thin smoke come out or no smoke already, then i leave my carpark. Maybe it helps, i don't know. I riding a KR bdw.

u're piston ring might have worn off/damage bro.... there's a jam the time u were stopped? engine might be ecessively hot if there's a jam, added to the worn off piston ring, u're bike will tend to give excessive smoke.

 

I was stopped too by NEA at checkpoint a few years back when i was still riding phantom.....and true enough that time smoke is coming out excessively, but i off my engine, wait 5 mins and restart....no smoke at all....smile and ride off....

Let me tell u this incident . My motorcycle returns from Malaysia and at the Woodlands custom checkpoint . When I returned , there was this Singh officer ( I forgotten his full name but his name is K…. something) Probably I took a look at him and instantly he was at me giving the signal for my motorcycle to shift aside . I followed the instruction and stopped at the side line . There was another officer by the name of Anuar Bin Kamani . So my motorcycle was restarted and this Anuar Bin Kamani use his EYES to check my motorcyle for smoke. He decided for himself that it was to his personal view excessive smoke and it was an offence and that by using his eye can gauge or judged that it is an offence . I question his judgement of using his eyes to judge . What standard is that ? That Anuar Bin Kamani tells me “Don’t talk so much ” . Don’t I have the right to question ? That Anuar Bin Kamani asks me for my NRIC . I told him I did not bring and I have only my passport with me . That “K-named” Singh officer say ok for passport . And the Anuar Bin Kamani ask me to pass my passport to that “K-named” Singh officer . So I passed my passport to the “K-named” Singh officer . The “K-named” Singh officer took my paasport and check and say very loudly “See your passport has no MONEY , no PAPER, u understand ” . The “K-named” Singh officer repeated second time very loudly ” U UNDERSTAND” ? Why does the “K-named” officer need again to repeat the second time “U UNDERSTAND” ? I have not mentioned or suggested any single word of “MONEY” to the officers . Is that “K-named” officer checking my passport for identification or is he checking for the word “NO MONEY , NO PAPER ” in my passport ? Is there a necessity to check for identification at this stage after all I have already passed the identification personal check already ? Do they have the right to check my passport again ? The most amazing thing is the “K-named” Singh officer paas my passport to the third malay officer (don’t know his name) and then the third malay officer issued me with a summon ticket for the offence of excessive smoke . My motorcycle has serviced through a more than $400 major overhaul including exhaust overhaul recently and the Vicom inspection passed and is less than one and a half month only . The Vicom checking is using sophiscated accurate measuring instruments to check for failure of smoke . If using Mr Anuar bin Kamani method of using his personal eyes to check with will sufficiently enough judgement, then I demand to the authority to close down Vicom centre to save the people money for better use . Just just use eye checking will be enough , isn’t it ? Why spend so much money to setup Vicom when the passed Vicom smoke certificate issued and which valid for three months is just a useless piece of paper because the eyes of Mr Anuar Bin Kamani is a better check to determine how much smoke is a failure compared with the expensive instruments at Vicom . So I went to Environment agency to appeal my fine summon . The MONEY_FACED Ms Liau Lai Eng refused my appeal because to my view is that $70 good free fine money to her agency account . Is the law correct and proper ? Why did we people need to pay $70 fine money for excessive smoke caught without proper instrument judgement but by using the eyes only ? If caught with excessive smoke , the proper procedure is to send the motorcycle to a Vicom check centre to determine using the right type of instrument that can tells and indicate how much it is failed by before a fine summon is issued and not judged by the eyes of Mr Anuar Bin Kamani . Which motorcyle has no smoke ? Don’t just keep fining people , solve problems with Vicom . Fining people heavily for just a little bit of smoke is not solving problem but only putting money into the agency account only . If Ms Liau Lai Eng think that it is still my motorcyle problem , then she should demand to me to service my motorcyle again and not just fining people . Is Ms Liau Lai Eng solving the motorcyle smoke problem by just receiving the fine money into the account ? No , she is definitely not . Are we to solve problem or is the purpose to get money ? Which is which ? I demand to the government to return all fines money to the people . Solve actual problem go to Vicom . That is the right way and procedure and not fine money or use eye to check for smoke . I have put this question to another MONEY-FACED Miss Lee upon rejection of my first appeal . I saw this Miss Lee . She says it is law and I must pay the fine . I put this question to her ” Can u tell me using the eyes to check and that by how much more quantity and quality smoke did my motorcyle failed on ? She can’t replied my question ? I asked her another question – Why did the Vicom expensive measuring instrument need to exist when the employing more of Mr Anuar Bin Kamani’s eyes will be cheaper , better , faster to gauge smoke and get in fined money faster too , isn’t it ? The MONEY-FACED Miss Lee cannot replied too . Her only point is that is law – pay fines $70 ! Why do people need to pay so much $70 fine to solve smoke problem when the problem will not disappear by paying $70 fines . For that concept of Ms Liau Lai Eng and Miss Lee , I demand to the government and Mr LHL to take action to fired off both Miss Liau Lai Eng and the Miss Lee (both from National Environment Agency) from all government position for supporting a stand that do not solve smoke problem but only aggravates the suffering and creating fined money stressed to the ordinary people . I stressed again solving smoke problem is to go for Vicom for checking to really solved and not fining . After getting the summons from the third malay officer , I immediately went to the nearest Yishun Vicom centre to determine and get a proof using their accurate instrument how much my motorcyle smoke failed or passed on but they refused to check for me and excused themselves out on the ground that they can check my motorcycle when there is a government checking request only . Indeed wot, i've been riding sp for the past 2 yrs, nv kena summoned for excessive smoke b4. There was a period of time whereby I used to frequent jb to pump petrol, also nv kena

The judicial system here is very inflexible and prone to corruption. If you're a minister's son, confirm can win one. If you work for the propaganda machine like that editor, kill people and they'll let you off lightly.

 

If you're someone, the law is flexible to you. If you're just an ordinary person, the law won't protect you.
