A total of 28bikes + 7pillion. We are shipping our bikes to China, followed by a roadtrip from Beijing to Shanghai.

Yesterday on the 8th of July, 28 of us send in our bikes to be palletised, loaded in the containers and sent off for shipment.

Shotly after I arrived at the warehouse which is at Pasir Panjang Distripark, the mechanics disconnected my bike battery. It is also necessary to drain the fuel out of the tank as during shipment, the bike is not allowed to contain petrol.

The guys at Team27 did a really great job. They strapped my bike down firmly and they are the BIG brains behind this trip. From arranging for the shipment to booking of hotels to planning the trip. :faint:

Duh!~ You must be someone from Zouk last night.

 

Newest Update: Although I am the ONLY Ducati in this roadtrip, I am not alone. I have the whole DUCATI behind me. Cause the staffs at Ducati told me I could give them a call if anything happens to my bike while in China. If necessary, they will liase with Ducati in China to provide me assistance. Whao~~ I am so honored to hear that! :cheer:

just kidding about the double stacking.. i think the logistics company got put all the choking and blockings in the container to prevent movements while in-transit..

Dats nice. A super leisure ride i believe covering ~ 1.8K km in 14 days.

 

There's been a change to the total distance. Another 1000km or so had been added because we need to travel by the expressway, instead of the intially planned small roads. I'm not sure of the exact distance yet.

 

BTW, we are on newspaper this morning! Wait wait i go downstairs buy now. Scan and share with you all...
