3D/2N - SIN - Frazer Hill (Pahang)

Duration: 12/07/2012 - 14/07/2012

( Thursday - Saturday )

Meeting at : 2nd link GP R & R

Time : 0645hrs

Traveling Speed: At your Leisure Round Trip Distance: About 850km (total)

Cost: POE

 

Itinerary:

12/07/2012 Thursday

 

0645 - Meet at GP R&R, ready by 7am move out shortly after briefing. Please top up your bike before the meet.

 

0830 - Breakfast at Machap. short rest & top up, ready to move out at 915am.

 

1100 - Top up and a short break at Senai R &R.

 

 

1300 - Check in hotel & short rest.

 

1400 - Gather at lobby for ride in Frazer hill.(optional) those wish to stay back for other R&R activities

 

1700- meet for Dinner.

 

13/07//2012 Friday

 

0800 - Gather at lobby for breakfast in the hotel. And bike cleaning.

 

1200 - Lunch

 

1300- Friday prayers

 

1700 - Dinner at the smoke house and scones

 

14/07/2012 Saturday

 

0800- breakfast and bike check

 

1200 - check out and head for home sweet home.

 

This short trip is open to all. There will be a Marshall to guide us all the way. Make sure your bike is well maintained ..

Fri night ... gt caught in a heavy downpour on the way to Tuas at almost midnight ... despite NEA saying no rain

 

Spent Sat morning n afternoon washing the bike ,,,

 

Sat night ... again NEA says no rain ...

 

Went to GP to pump in petrol ... came back at 2335hrs ...

 

Guess what ... rained at 2345 ...

 

NEA ... !!! This time I was lucky by 10 mins !!!

From past rides ... the latest we get back to SG is 4 am ... this time could be earlier as we r leaving earlier

Useful bit of info for u bros ... I had some engine oil on my shelf since jan 09 ... safe to use?

 

This is the answer from Mobil :-

 

 

 

ExxonMobil recommends a five year maximum shelf-life for engine oils, including Mobil 1.

not planning for side panniers? the alu one is more for cosmetic, heard that it fails sometimes and its more ex...

if space is your concern, get givi maxia its 55l...

im waiting for rack frm h&b, getting the junior top case 45l... side pannier would look good but not exactly for woodlands traffic, so im giving up on it

Yes ... i already fitted the H&B alu rack .. now waiting for the Junior 40 top box or the Xplorer .. but most likely will get the Junior 40. 45 seems a little too big ...
