After sales support usually is lousy....I just wanna try using a qwerty phone, and since I'm going army sooner or later, might as well get a non camera one.

HTC after sales service very lousy.. i don't know about the phone.. but the brand is not that good imo

 

Last time was quite lousy due to the small area for queue and waiting time very long, but recently they change it to free delivery by Singpost so they will collect from u den delivery to ur house after repair, i tink its quite a convenient service but up to diff people's opinion i guess...

How long have you been using HTC Snap? I'm considering buying one non camera phone recently and came across Snap.

Is the battery life good? Some review say good some other say bad.

And overall how does the phone fare?

 

I been using it for around 1/2 year alr, batt is around 3-4 days without using gprs but once gprs is used, around 1-2 days low batt liao, but depending on ur usage also... Usually for me around 1hr of youtube and 3-4hr of net surfing den i low batt le...

 

Overall phone consider ok ba, me not a supporter of windows mobile but i tink overall not bad till now, u can give it a try or the New Htc Touch 2 non-cam touch screen phone that looks cool also, but too bad is windows mobile again..

 

Why cant they come out an Android non-cam hp... haiz

Blackberry non cam is more expensive than the camera versions at around $700++. Without the BB plan, the phone is crippled.

 

HTC snap is around $368...can consider getting to try out without having too much heart pain. Haha.

I'm currently using sony vivaz...other than the 8MP camera and HD video, the phone is laggy and bugged. Touch screen phone like eat batteries very fast. QWERTY phones have small screens, should be save more battery. If E72 got non camera version I sure buy...the battery can last for a week!

Could park at raffles city -foc & take a 5-10min walk. ERP for your hours should be minimal if not non-existent.

On internship currently...no chance ride bike for the next 3 months. Sian.

Think its overrated. Get a nokia or bb 9000. I'm on 9000 and had experience with snap before. BB9000 also has its problems not that its perfect IMHO.

You can live without the BB plan, just get data.

The bb can go without bb plan if I'm not wrong. Just get data. Indeed the phone is much ex because its not taiwan made, say for eg. you compare a taiwan made scooter and an italian made there'll be a significant price diff and resale value etc.

 

Think Nokia e51 would suit your needs.
