Guys, i'm a new Hornet9 user. my first month with the bike. loved it, went up to thailand already.

i got a few queries about the bike.

1. handlebars vibrates at speeds after 120kmh. due to steering cone?

2. where do i get i windscreen for this bike?

3. would super4's fork brace fit a H9's? dimensions look similar?

4. does the fumes smell stinkier than other bikes? seems like air/fuel mixture is fuel biased.

well, the are more questions in my head but these are most important at this moment. thanks for any advise/help given.

cheers

Super 4 fork brace would not fit in.

hey takumi18, thanks for the 'heads up'. thought there was something wrong with the bike. one problem is, h9 accessories is quite difficult to get here in SG. i wonder why.....

Accessories are hard to find in local but u can find more in oversea webs.

well.... i guess it is not exactly a very common bike in sg....

how often do u actually see 1 on the road...

That's the whole point :thumb:

for #1. can be a few reasons.. forks not at same level/spring damaged/tyre not balanced properly/bent forks or axle/check bearings.

for #4. bring it down to a dyno, only that can tell if ur AFR is off the specs.

it is a common thing about the vibes felt on the bars, it's a known problem. some have seen an improvement using heavier bar ends or changing it to aluminium bars. for me, the vibes is just one of its characteristic.

wait till you smell exhaust fumes riding the h9.

and just a note- one used H6 and H9 at Looi's for sale.

and UpZZZ for shaun's bike as well.

well guys, the vibes, i've learnt to live with it. like wat smokin said, its the bike's character, i accept that fact.

for the smelly fumes, i got my mechanic to check the CO emission level, he said its of normal range.

so i guess, i have to accept the bike for wat it is, not wat i want it to become. still, it rides like a dream, i love it.
