when you go see, is it under servicing? appearance wise can do up. price i think still acceptable. only the tail light non stock. ugly..

the last i know heng motor @ toh guan got one. =)

that hornet had been sitting there for at least 8mth as i did ask them earlier this year in feb. it was going for 5k+ then.

i feel that its not worth it cos they nv maintain the bike, should at least change batt and start. not sure abt their reputation but if they sell the bike at 3-4k then stil can consider.

hope it helps

wow bro u really passionate abt this bike!! :thumb: . i guess 6k is too much to overhaul? hmm ard 2-4k with respray. that will add up to almost 10k,hmm can get S4 specIII or revo... muz consider carefully bro..

i think UM should be ablt to service hornet as hornet is somewhat similar to S4 and some parts can be interchangeable.

lol er 6k to overhaul cos i thinking of importing parts from japan to overhaul, will spend another 2k for sp tadao dual exhaust for it too. need to change alot of things, chain, spocket, brakeline, clutch cable, trottle cable and many more. dun think will change the paint unless really look like ****.

i think hornet will outrun s4 even it is a 250.

till now, i think unique give quite trustable, planet seems reliable but then bringing parts from japan, i need to go to a shop who really get real honda parts. and my previous visits to unique left me with quite a good impression. alot of bikes went there for overhaul, n their mechanics seems to know what they are doing.

went down to sin boon juz now as it was near my house, the hornet there was a 900 not 250 :sian: . anyway the hornets all look similar except the 250 which had only one side exhaust. the 600/900 had twin exhaust.

from what i know,

Hornet 250 - single sided front brake..

Hornet 600 - Twin disc brakes + there's this hose connecting from the radiator to the engine which the 250 don't have.

Hornet 900 - very obvious.. the twin exhausts..

y honda suddenly stop production hornet, cos pushing sales for s4? if possible, can import from japan factory? dun mind as long as it doesn't cost more than an s4 revo first hand. o_O

then i will be the first nut case to bring in hornet now. :sian:

Wah seh... very active Hornet site recently..

Touch n Go, I must say that i am very impressed by your enthusiasm on the HORNET 250 bike.

I guessed you have already learnt much about the Used hornet market price and very much ready for 'solid' negotiation... heehee.

I was considering of letting go of my hornet .... but, still.. i need to find a replacement bike... :)

So,.. generally, i don't think that i will sell the bike juz yet....!!!

Anyway, have u passed your 2A license.. ? I was too busy with my work that i have not been coming into this forum for almost a week... heehee.:cheeky:

By the way, 600cc HORNET not necessary to be a double exhaust type... i had a malay neighbour riding one before he sold it off... and it's a single exhaust... HORNET600.

Cheers!

the new hornet design not nice imo. still prefer the old hornet. i think can go hunt around at kaki bukit bike shop or bukit merah side. or enuos area, sure have some place selling.
