what's ur review on cool aide? I'm been topping with water... but 919 heat up pretty easily, gotta get this monster going frm time to time... idle or moving slow would be a problem.

919 does have HISS too, but don't have such a function where the needle would sweep through the meter haha... 250 has HISS?

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

hmm well i guess its ok? never had overheating problems using it so far on my bandit 400 or H250, but i think they are relatively cool bikes compared to a class 2, so i not sure :(

but i on my bandit i managed to sustain 150+ km\h up to kulai in malaysia and back without heat issues. so i think its relatively good? 20 bucks for a bottle

hi bro, welcome to the club. the FQ hornet600 is it the one with the repsol orange paintwork? if is then i think its worth it. i think the seller was selling at $4.8k if im not wrong. try bring a experienced fren down to check it out, make sure no leak from engine, radiator, no smoke from exhaust, etc..

spares i think should not be much of a problem as the engine is from old cbr600, most parts are common for honda bikes.

bikeshop wise can go to bikeworkz, i service my hornet250 there and they are quite gd at dealing with hornet. im sure there are some other good place too.

After going through the net, I realise that 919 has such function most probably mine was faulty.

LOL now I understand that the lack of air flow through the radiator is also another problem... traffic in sg kind of heavy and too many stop at short interval.

Will try out Cool Aide, its glycol free best liao... My fren recommend water wetter too... don't top too much coolant in the overflow reservoir, so that there's room for coolant to return.

Saw a few in the used bike sales thread, perhaps ya can look up from there?

oh thanks, so base on ur experience the needle will not turn when key is turn to "ON"?

For the light, except the reserve light the rest lit up then shortly "FI" and "HISS" goes "OFF", leaving the "Neutral" and "Engine oil pressure" lit.

Ya riding 919 too?
