my windscreen is a puig windy (universal)..

I'm so loving my new brake light. it's so bright ^^

Thought of changing mine, but I heard integrated signal lamp can't pass inspection?

Considering front fork upgrade to adjustable cartridge type fork, not sure of the damage...

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

I'm wondering if one of the LED burnt out, can this particular defective LED replaced? Am wondering how true about the lighter the rim is less energy require to slow/stop the vehicle.

:cheeky: not sure but the chassis might be able to offset the problem? I saw some SF with angel light... pretty neat, :)

Be glad it happened in SG. I got my FZ1-S batt dead in d middle of my return from Cameron, at Sg Buloh. Ended up spending RM100 for tow to KL and RM500 for a yuasa batt...

wah I'm shocked how much Yuasa battery cost in KL. Damn sian bump into such incident down the road. :( But at times "it" didn't gave us any slightest hint of break down... does caught us by surprise

That's not worst.I changed the battery and manage to get back to SG deprived of a few hours sleep before starting work the next day. Then few days later,I realised the component which damaged my battery is the magnetic coil. This time,my bike broke down at TPE.Ended up paying $920 to get it repaired....

mean to say the rectifier survived?

Do you change battery right on one year period or when there's sign of failure?

The rectifier survived alright. This has nothing to do with the battery or rectifier as it always happen on Honda bikes. Its a common fault on Fazer1000 and R1.So be cool,no worries on Hornets.

when i replace the old battery, i'm told that how far/duration of my ride play some part keeping the battery well charged. Nowadays i tried going circles after work to prolong the battery charging.

Hi all, just got myself a 250.

Sigh, me always behind the trend.. join something when the buzz is over :pity:

Any space in this hornet's nest for a newbie here? :dot:

there's always room for everyone... which model hornet you bought? Despite 250, quite good in horse power.

I'm riding a 919 :)

dude, i'm using a size smaller which is Yuasa YTZ-9. its 12V also but its current is 8aH. the standard battery is rated at 8.6aH. overall no diff but pricewise, its only $60. and its 1cm taller than our standard battery, so gotta knock the battery into the already tight slot.

hey that's good price for Yuasa batt, its dry cell too?

How long ya been using it?

mine's a 2003 CB250F1J.. didn't know there're other models of 250s..

Still drooling @ 600cc hornet, coz the bassy sound just turns me on :lovestruck:

and it having the same body of a 250 simply trumps the body structure design of cb400.

but the FC of class 2 bikes is a turnoff la..

what's your FC like, given your riding style slevin?

CB250F1, so its a 2001 model? You must cherish this bike, its one of the few 250 with inline four cylinder engine. I would find Hornet series a good all rounder bike with style. Though bhp not as high as what the current st fighter can offer, but compensated with good acceleration :thumb: But not much of aftermarket parts to play with...

It's a one-time fill up kinda thing. Not sure how long it'll last. Hehe. So far so good. Don't feel any difference actually.
