I-moto**** really ****ed place

NSR SP the bike that i bought at this shop 3 wks ago and is only 2 wks warranty, things started to change after payment after that the problem started, the mech say that the conrod, bearing, piston and block all need to replace so call overhaul.. which they ask me to pay them arnd 1k just to overhaul. and now they even ask me to go overhaul which means they trying to sell me a bike that not even fully service yet and its not even 1 month i rode it!!

 

please advice is there any other cheaper alternatives??

yeah now not even 1 month leyy and i still have 1 year of installment left which is 180 per month, really bopien need to overhaul coz even if i sell back, who would want to take a useless bike, not even shop woud do that, and if i dont overhaul , they will charge me for bike storage and still i have to pay for the installment every month which bike is usless now till i overhaul it

Tip No. 1 : always bring some 1 experince to bikeshop

Tip No. 2 : Bring some 1 who have got relationship with the shop

Tip No. 3: Insist what ever agreement to be written in BW n ask for a copy..

Bro why not try to Overhaul your engine at Johor? If your bike is unusable or cannot ride and have to overhaul in Singapore u may want to try at HL Cycle?

If he is indeed right and the bike shop is indeed wrong , what trouble can it be? Unless he decided to post like the guy in FB with burning down of PAP or something..... then be in DEEP TROUBLE.

Only 3 shops that i could suggest reliable. Planet, HL Cycle or Unique. Hope u find a good shop to repair your bike bro.

You could pm a moderator to close this thread. Just be careful and take this as a lesson. It's a rather cheap lesson compared to what others had encountered before. Anyway if i'm not mistaken I believe overhauling for your SP won't amount to 1k with regard to the parts needed to be changed. Do consolidate the list of parts needed to change, which is given by your current mechanic and go to another shop and ask for a quotation. Try unique. Getting bike to unique u can call bikebulance or unique own tow truck. Get a quotation first before u tow.

Its not a question of who is right, but instead who legally has a case here.
