I wanted to share an experience i have with my newly acquired Daelim Daystar, which for those who don't know, is a 125cc cruiser motorcycle. When i rev the engine, above say 6000rpm (need to check again because i forgot), the muffler sound resembles the noise of screws like to coming apart!

I would like to know whether this is a common problem in Daelim Daystars or just mine? This is my first cruiser so actually i don't know how a cruiser muffler should sound like :)

dismantle your exhaust and shake out the loose item inside ur exhaust..

meanwhile you may like to sand paper it to remove the rust and give it a new coat of paint.

learning to be a better rider.

Hi bros,

Me also another daystar rider. got my bike last month only and had the same problem as you. i went to the workshop and was told that some stuff in the pipe has cracked. got it change, by spending ard $120. sound better also.

For mine, the whole bike was virbrating when i hit around 70Km (RPM 7k). after checkig, my shaft got problem also.

just curious... why you go your bike. I got my from Bukit Batok CKA, and that shops sucks cos when I wwnt to them, they told me is normal and kept pestering me to upgrade it to 150cc.

susequently, i went to the branch at Toh Guan and got it fix. ppl there are more pro and friendly. Below is my bad with Bakit Batok, in case you stay around there, dont go.

First day collecting the bike - speedometer not working

Few days later, IU not working - when go back to the shop, they said they only warranty the engine. after some aurgment, they agreed to give a used one for FOC, but must wait, dont know how long....

Now, after riding for last than 10 times, i cannot start my bike. both electric and kick start. got to wait till this friday when they open to check with the workshop what happen. sigh...

Incase someone can help me, when I turn the key to on, the neutral light takes a few seconds to light up. when i try to on the signal light, it doesnt blink and the neutral light becomes dim. wondering is it the batt is low or the charging problem cos it first occur after i rided from Tampines to woodlands, then go pump petrol. after that, cannot electric start and manage to kick start after a few attemps.

Thanks..
