This organiser is a very very experienced and skilled rider. Who dare to tour whole of thailand by solo??? We newbie SHOULD NOT benchmark our level of endurance and achievement level against his.

yeah bro I really respect his bravery to tour thailand on his own leaving his wife and baby daughter behind.

Just now talk to him and tell me not to worry, he say he will take care of me

From the organiser:

I'm planning the above mention trip on the 12th March 2011 (Saturday). If interested, you may join me. Itenary as stated below.

7.00am - Leave JB to Shell Seremban (NSHW) - top up and 10 min break (270km)

9.30am - Leave Shell Seremban to Petronas Simpang Pulai - top up and 10 min break (250km)

12.00pm - Leave Petronas Simpang Pulai to Brinchang Sikh Temple (80km) - LUNCH

1.30pm - 3.30pm - RELAX RELAX AT CAMERON HIGHLANDS

3.30pm - Leave Brinchang to KL - Which part of KL is yet to be decided, lets see if KL bikers wants to meet us (215km)

8.00pm - Leave KL back to Singapore (343km)

NOTES:

1. Timing and distance is based on GPS calculations of riding at 110km/h. We are going to ride at standard 150km/h if possible. SO BUCK UP!!!

2. Petrol stops depends on what kind of bikes following. If smaller petrol tanks, then we will stop accordingly.

3. I seldom have long breaks / stops during rides. So for those smokers, hhhmmmmm... smoke as fast as you can! :)

4. Lunch will be at Sikh Temple Brinchang (Chappati).. unless you don't like it, you may go to shops there to eat.. no worries..

* BUT REMEMBER, IF YOU ARE STEPPING INTO THE TEMPLE PREMISES, PLEASE LEAVE YOUR TOBACCO OUTSIDE THE TEMPLE PREMISES IN YOUR BIKES. APPRECIATE IT.

5. KL is not confirmed. If got time, we stop by for TEH TARIK or DINNER... depands

6. The only night riding we going to do is from KL to JB.. on NSHW.. should be safe...

Please revert your interest by 9th March 2011.

Thanks and see you on the road soon... :)

Have you decided to get what touring bike yet?

Bro,having headache for sometime on the bike issue already. I really like the new white VFR1200 but it cost a bomb. Further this price can almost buy the magic carpert ride BMW GS1200. Thinking to do some saving up and spent more time to think a little. One of my key feature I need in a bike is the ability to remove sidebox during my weekdays ride and still look good, so I can squeeze thru traffic which I enjoy the most hehe. I only would like to own 1 bike.

Some may know the terrible traffic condition during evening peak hours going from IMM to AMK, via PIE, Lorine, AMK. If I drive it take me at least 1hr15mins to get home. If I ride a bike with the ability to squeeze, 20mins tops.

Defnitely agree he is one experience hell of a rider after todays trip to cameron highlands.

Anyway did Cameron Highland trip in a day distance almost 1200km organised by Rajeh. Met new KL bikers friends. Certainly learnt alot from this trip from those experienced bikers.

We did the route up to Cameron from Simpang Pulai, and down to Tapah. Tapah route is dangerous and scary. With the sand, gravel, pot holes, overtaking slow moving vehicles, negotiating sharp bends
