I have a couple of pelicans. If you can DIY and mount it on then it will be the best possible kind of box you can have albeit a bit bulky and god-awefully heavy/expensive. Also if you DIY and drill through the shell, the waterproofness is compromised. Hepco and becker is my choice for bike boxes without the fuss
