btw, i went moto world and check out the price for Yoshi end cans and pc3 for my 04' R1. he say price is $1200 for the end cans and ard $620 for the pc3... so expensive ah?? and the BMC racing air filter is $170.... wah lidat... change need ard 2k liao... is it better to wait for someone from the forum to sell their 2nd hand de??

1. yoshi - legal version doesn't sound good,top-end power gain not much

or dun gain at all but slightly a bit more back-pressure due to the

small inner passage of end-can. No baffle fitted even for street

legal type.

 

2. akraprovic - more top-end power gain but legal only with baffle on.

 

3. arrow - more top-end power gain but legal only with baffle on.

 

4. 2bros - 2Bros have no street legal pipes for S'pore use at all

 

5. stock - better low-end torque but slightly hotter to cook your balls faster...

I would prefer Arrow la but I dun know how much is it

for a pair for 04-06R1 ...

 

Ya it's the metal piece of tube which will control the loudness

and out-put rate will be affected too ... Can be taken off since it's

screwed on , not bolt on ...

You not only need to change the endcans, but the Y-pipe as well.

 

The heat dissipation comes from the Y-pipe mostly. Or you can de-cat your stock Y-pipe.

They did the recall some time back. Your bike has the TPS problem when it stalls, becomes sluggish and there is no power when you open throttle...

My bike is originally with Micron slip on and K and N filter. Anybody here has experienced with jet kits?

 

My main purpose is to improve on the smoothness. I read online that the jet kits actually smoothen out power band, remove flat spot and increase smoothness significantly.

 

Please advice me which is better and where can I install it.
