2 - Buy a new sleeve and I could re-sleeve it back for you provided both end cover are not crumpled either.

 

3 - If both end cover also like roti prata, then on Sunday you just stayed at home and look for the uncle who makes noise at the void deck every Sunday and keeps calling out "KARUNG GUNI!!!!"

Er..WW how come is 'adjust' & not 'service' ah? What to adjust?

 

Cos if you feel that your bike is giving you some slipping , it might be due to the slipper clutch, and not the clutch plate. So i should say it adjust and not service.

Unless when you open up your clutch housing, and you saw that your clutch friction plate had been wore out, than you change your clutch friction plate than i would say that it service. Anyway to really adust the slipper clutch , you need to open the clutch housing and take out the whole assembly. and adjust the 3 nut. The clerance given by the service manual is 0.25-0.3mm, you need to have a filler gauge to adjust it.

As our bike is running , our friction plate will tend to wore off abit, that is when our slipper device(the stupid 3 nut) need to have it adjust. The last time i open up my clutch , the 3 nut clearance went up to nearly 1.2mm.

The first thing you know you need to adjust is when you moving off, your feel your bike , tend to have a very loud noise inside the clutch housing and the bike seem to want to move and in a very jerky way.

And for info, the service manual state that for every 6k milage ,we need to adjust the stupid nuts. But for mi, i adjust when i feel the jerky thing when i want to move off from start.

My slipper clutch has not been adjusted until today, think 15K mileage.

Is it time to adjust it ? If yes, any recommended shop for this kind of adjustment ?

 

I recommend unity to do the adjustment. But if you didt feel any funny jerky feeling when moving off, i think you can just ride with it, till when you wnat to change your clutch plate, than one time do all, save $$.

But i heard of ppl that complant that our bike no slipper clutch feeling, that mainly because of the stupid 3nuts again. Cos it not pretuding out 0.25-0.3mm , if it not pretuding out, you feel that your bike is having a strong engine brake(no slipper clucth)

I bought the barnnet from Ebay, very shoik , as the spring is very hard, but not lasting, maybe it make for lacing ba. Yoshi, till now so far so good. about 20k.

I dun have high com gasket lah, yoshi spring from motor world, but very expensive lei.
