Michelin has notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Transport Canada that it is recalling Michelin® Pilot® Power 2CT and Pilot® Power 120/70 ZR 17 (58W) front motorcycle tires with the "Made in France" markings in the United States and Canada. This recall involves these specific tires only and has no impact on any other Michelin tires. Related actions are under way in other countries.

Because rider safety is the primary concern, Michelin has decided as a precaution to replace the 120/70 ZR 17 (58W) Michelin Pilot Power 2CT and Michelin Pilot Power front tires, which can be identified by the following markings on the sidewall:

-- a "Made in France" label

-- DOT 6UCW 980Tor DOT 6UCW 979T

The company will be replacing all potentially affected tires in a comprehensive commitment to retrieve from the market any tire that does not meet Michelin quality standards. Replacement tires are available at no cost (including mounting and balancing) to consumers through participating Michelin® motorcycle tire servicing retailers.

Please msg or call this number 96849008

Send him your Name, Bike number, which shop you brought your tires from.

I bought the barnnet from Ebay, very shoik , as the spring is very hard, but not lasting, maybe it make for lacing ba. Yoshi, till now so far so good. about 20k.

Hi WW,

Can the clutch adjustment frequency be reduced by changing aftermarket clutch spring ? Confuse ?

My K5 do not feel the jerky during moving, but there are "rutter" sound during idling. Think its time to adjust ...

By the way, will this clutch problem affect the performance ? Speed, torque, etc.

Just need to know, as recently my K5 just don't pull beyond 8000rpm.

Need advise. Thank you.

Adjustment frequency cant be reduce by changing to after market spring, anyway i would say the frequency of the adjustment is by how frequent you ride your bike.

And if the clutch problem affect the bike performance, i should , it will affect a bit , as it cost clutch slip when you suddendly open throttle when riding.

(this is effect is same as when your clutch friction plate is use up, in our k5/6 case, it might be be either friction plate use up or slipper clutch need adjustment.)

And your k5 dun rev up to 8k????? any Fi error when ridding??? i doubt that problem is cost by the clutch.

Food For Thought

Bread pudding.

Single light cream is the type of cream most commonly used for cooking. However, this type of cream should not be boiled as it will curdle. Also, always add hot liquids to the cream rather than the cream to the liquids, in order to avoid curdling. Single(light) cream has an 18 percent fat content.

I post a picture of the service manual on the adjustment of the clutch.
